Remember when I said I wasn't looking forward to my anniversary next week well here's the reason. For the past two years Andrew's family especially his mother would offer to host the anniversary celebrations and things would turn out awful.
It happened the first year and and it also happened last year. And I really don't want it to happen again, I wouldn't be able to bear it.
Andrew's parents weren't exactly happy with our marriage. His father wasn't happy because he had already arranged a marriage for Andrew with a billionaire heiress. While his mother just hated me for reasons unknown to me. Maybe she also had marriage plans for her son. I had no idea, but one thing I was sure of was that the Woman truly despises me. Truly!
The first time Andrew took me home to meet his parents was a day I would never forget.
I had never met his family and was very excited to finally get to meet them.
When we arrived at the family's mansion, I was greeted warmly by the family. However, the warm welcome quickly turned cold as his family began to criticize me and my background. They made snide comments about my family and my job, and even went as far as to question my intelligence. It was horrible.
I was devastated. I had expected to be welcomed with open arms, but instead, I was treated like an outsider. I tried my best to remain polite and respectful, but his family's cruel words and behavior made it difficult for me to stay composed.
Luckily I had Andrew by my side. The way he stood up to his family for me was so wonderful. He warned them never to treat me with anything other than respect or else I was going to be his only family.
In the end, they only treated me badly when Andrew wasn't around. I walked away from the experience feeling hurt and embarrassed. I knew that I deserved better treatment than I had received, but I just endured because of my love for Andrew.
And now sitting here in the present, having dinner with Andrew and he's talking about having our three year anniversary planned by his family as usual. If only he knew the pain I go through every year.
"So we leave for London the day after tomorrow so we can help with the arrangements." Andrew said to me as he ate his dinner.
"Sure." I replied. Not wanting to say anything else. Agg...how frustrating I thought.
Andrew must have noticed my mood because the next thing he said was "I promise It will be better this time. Everything will go as planned." He said with a smile.
I had to smile back so he wouldn't feel bad. But that was the exact same thing he told me last year.
I couldn't believe I was going to fly to London to relive the same nightmare over again.
I suddenly lost my appetite. I walked out of the dinning room and went upstairs to freshen up and prepare for bed. I had a lot of work to do tomorrow since I was flying to London the day after.
I took a shower and when I came out Andrew was already in the room. He had taken off his shirt.
He had a muscular upper body, with broad shoulders and a strong chest. His biceps were defined, and his abdomen was toned and tight. His skin was lightly tanned, and there was a hint of stubble on his face. He looked powerful and confident.
"Are you okay?" He asked in a husky voice which made me blush. For goodness sake I have seen this man naked a thousand times why the heck am I still feeling this way.
"Yeah. I'm fine." I replied.
"Then why did you leave without finishing your dinner?" He asked as he walked closer to me.
"I was full." I replied as I stepped away from him. I was still tied up in a towel and my hair was still dripping wet from my shower. And I knew exactly what he wanted. But I wasn't going to give in.
Maybe then he'll realise that I don't want his family planning our anniversary.
But I was fool to think I could resist him. Because moments later he had me pinned to the bed.
I layed on the bed naked, my body trembling with anticipation. His hands were gentle as he caressed my body, sending shivers of pleasure through me. His lips followed, trailing kisses down my neck and shoulders as he moved lower. His tongue found my nipples and teased them, making me gasp with pleasure.
He moved down my body, exploring every inch of me with his tongue and lips. His hands never stopped moving, caressing my skin and sending waves of pleasure through me. When he reached my inner thighs, I moaned and arched my back, begging for more.
He obliged, pushing his tongue inside me and exploring my depths. I gasped as his tongue found my sweet spot and he moved his hands to my hips, pushing me further and further into ecstasy. I felt myself coming closer and closer to the edge until finally, I let go and screamed out in pleasure.
He moved up my body, kissing my neck and shoulders as he did. He entered me slowly, pushing deeper and deeper until he filled me completely. He moved in and out, his thrusts coming faster and faster until I felt myself coming again. This time, he followed me, his body shaking and his release coming in waves.
We lay there, entwined in each other's arms, our breathing slowly returning to normal. As I felt my heart rate return to normal, I knew that this was only the beginning of a beautiful night.
Aleast he was making me happy before we meet his family..
********
The days went by really fast and before l knew it we we're already in Andrew private jet flying to London.
We arrived at the Miners mansion. A place which held a lot of dreadful memories.
The moment we arrived we were greeted by his family. Loving smiles and hugs were thrown at my direction. What a facade. But I had to play along. For Andrew's sake.
"Sarah! Darling, it's so good to see you! You look absolutely lovely." Andrew's mother Elena Miner said to me with a bright smile on her face. How good she was at pretending. She would have made a fine actress, but two can play this game.
"Oh mother! It's so wonderful to see you too. You look wonderful." I said with a forced smile as I gave her a hug. It was dreadful but I had play along.
Standing next to Andrew's mother Elena was Andrew's twin sister Casandra. A woman put on this very planet just to make my life miserable.
"Sarah!" She called out
"Casandra. You look good." I said to her with my award winning smile still on my face.
"You too." She replied. "I see my brother is doing his job perfectly well then." Casandra said to me. She had always said I was a gold digger and was only after her brother's money.
"Where is dad and Cassie? Andrew asked."Your father isn't feeling too well his upstairs in his bedroom. And Cassie will be flying in tomorrow. She said she'll be here before noon." Elena replied.
Cassie is the last born of the Miner family. She's Andrew and Casandra's younger sister. She is a really sweet and kind person. She's actually the only person who had been truly good to me in Andrew's entire family.
"I'll go upstairs and go see dad." Andrew said to his mother. "Honey, you should get some rest It was a long flight. I'll come join you soon." Andrew said to me as he planted a kiss on my forehead.
I smiled in return. Gaining death stares from my mother in law and her daughter. Now that Andrew wasn't here I was sure they would reaveal there true colours.
"Come Casandra let's go get ready for dinner. We shouldn't waste our precious time on worthless people." Elena said as she walked away.
Casandra stayed. She walked closer to me and whispered "I hope this year's anniversary will be better than the last ones." She said with a sinister look In her eyes then walked away.
I ignored them and went upstairs to freshen up and get some rest I just had to survive a few days and soon I would be out of here. I can do this. I encouraged myself...The door opened and Andrew walked into the bedroom. I was on the bed with my laptop taking a look at some new designs my assistant had sent to me when he walked in."How's your dad doing?" I asked looking up. "He's good. Just a headache. He had taken he's meds so I'm sure he'll be fine." Andrew replied. "That's good." I told Andrew and went back to work. Although deep down I really didn't care about his father's health. Truth be told I wouldn't even care If he died the next day. You may be wondering why I would say something so horrible. Well, that's probably because the man himself is the plain definition of horrible. David Miner is a bad person. It's a suprise his son didn't turn out to be like him. I'm actually really thankful for that. The man went as far as threatening me to leave his son or else he would hurt members of my family. Shocking? I know. He did that after he tried to bribe me with a huge sum of money but I rejected and threatening me was the next thing he thought o
The next morning.....I tossed and turned in bed I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that Ryan was going to be here. I could barely sleep last night. I couldn't see him again. Infact I shouldn't see him again. He was a problem, a big one. You must be thinking I'm over reacting but I know myself I know how I feel everytime he was around. And I hated the feeling. And I shouldn't even be feeling that way because I was married to a Andrew. At that thought Andrew walked in. He had gone out for a jug. Which he did every morning. He'd always ask me to come along but I was way to lazy to get up that early in the morning. "Your back." I said with a warm smile on my face. "Yeah. And your awake." He teased. "Shut up and come here." I told him with a smile. "I'm a bit sweaty." "I don't care." I watched as he walked towards the bed with a smile. He came closer and planted a kiss on my head. Even sweaty he smelt divine. He always smelt so good. "You look so beautiful this morning." He s
Alone in my bedroom with nothing much to do I watched as the maid poored a cup of tea for me. I smiled at her as she finished. Andrew had gone out with his dad leaving me here in this horride household. I dreaded the fact that I had to spend my afternoon with Cassandra and my awful mother in law. Who knows what they had in store for me.Just then my phone rang and the caller ID showed Rose my little sis."Happy almost anniversary..." Rose said in a sing-song voice."Thank you." I chuckled. "So how are things going over there with your horride in-laws.""Horride in-laws, I quite like how that sounds." I said and could hear Rose laugh."You don't have to worry about them anymore cause I have a suprise for you.""Really? What is it?""Go outside..""Go outside where?.""Go outside the house silly.""What? Why?""Because of the suprise. Duh.." Rose said like I was stupid.I got down from the bed and made my way downstairs. I went outside the house but didn't see any thing. I was confuse
I spent the entire day with my mum and Rose. We went to different tourist centres in London, we had a blast but I was extremly tired by the time we got home.Andrew still wasn't back by then so I decided to take a shower.I took off my clothes and walked into the bathroom.A hot shower after a stressful day can be incredibly relaxing. The warm water helped soothe all my tense muscles and melted away my stress. Plus, the steam helped clear my mind and gave me a moment to relax and reset.I stayed really still for a while. Until I felt a touch. I jolted then immediately turned around. It was Andrew he was in the shower with me. He looked absolutely stunning when wet! His hair looked sleek and shiny, his eyes sparkle like the ocean, and his skin glistens in the light. He looked like a work of art!He wrapped his arms around my waist as the warm water cascaded down our bodies. I looked into his eyes, feeling overwhelmed with love and admiration. There was no words needed at this moment.Wi
I walked into the dinning room and noticed my mum and Rose and the rest of Andrew's family where already there except for aunt Maria. Dinner wasn't served yet but everyone was sitted."I'm glad you finally pleased us with your presence, Sarah." I heard my mother in law say, venom lacing her words.Andrew walked in as well and Immediately went over to meet my mum and sister Rose. He smiled as they exchanged greetings.I went over to sit next to my sister who immediately lean over and whispered to me. "Your lips are a bit swollen. What were you up too."I looked at her with a shocked expression as my face turn red in embarrassment then pushed her away playfully. I knew the Miners all had there eyes on us. Any slight show off happiness would be used against us later on."Did anyone miss me?" I heard a familiar voice say and every one in the dinning room turned towards the entrance.Standing there was Cassie Miner Andrew and Casandra's younger sister."Oh my darling babygirl." Elena said
"And once again things begin with a bang in this horride household." Rose said to mum and I as we made our way up the stairs."Indeed. The Miners never fail to disappointment." My Mum added a touch of sadness in her voice. It made my heart ache."Mum I'm so sorry. You made such a long flight here only to get treated this way." "Oh..darling. I didn't make the flight for them I made it for you. So don't blame yourself." Mum said gently cupping my face."I just wish things were different." I replied. Honestly wishing my in-laws were nice people but I'm stuck with the Miners as in-laws."I know baby. But I'm afraid they aren't very good people and I feel like it's best if I and your sister spend the next few days at a hotel." My mum answered totally shocking me."A hotel?" I asked in disbelief turning to look at Rose who shrugged."I'm sorry sis. But mum's right we can't stay here." Rose said sadly. "But we'll be here for the anniversary party on Sunday." She added as if it would make m
I slowly walked back to my room and grabbed my phone, trying to call Andrew, but he wasn't answering. That was very unusual because he always answered my calls. What was going on? Was he okay? And mostly, where the heck was he?I sighed in frustration, but then a spark of realization hit me—I could track his phone. Why hadn't I thought of it sooner? As the app displayed his location, a mix of anger and anxiety consumed me.A nightclub? Seriously? What the heck... How could he do this? My family gets mistreated by his, and he left me to go to a club. Oh no, he didn't.I grabbed a jacket, threw on black boots, and practically stomped out of the room. As fate would have it, I nearly collided with Cassie, my sister-in-law."Whoa, where's the fire?" she asked, puzzled."I'm off to meet your brother, who ditched me and is currently partying it up at a nightclub," I spat, showing her Andrew's location."Yikes, that looks bad, but I'm sure he's just getting some air. This house can be stiflin
"Don't be mad, Siren. It's not his fault; I asked him to meet me here," Ryan smoothly interjected, using that nickname he'd stuck me with since the day Andrew introduced us.Since the day he pulled that fake first-meeting stunt. I swallowed, my anger doing a disappearing act.I didn't want anything to do with Ryan, so I whipped around to face Andrew. "I'm leaving. You better follow me unless you want a divorce." I laid down the ultimatum and stomped out.Andrew hesitated, torn between explaining and sticking around. "Wait, Sarah," he called, but I didn't give him the satisfaction of a glance. The night air hit me as I stormed out of the club, frustration and confusion swirling in my head.Reaching the car, Andrew caught up and grabbed my arm."Honey, just calm down," he urged, his grip firm but gentle."Calm down?" I asked in disbelief turning to him, our faces mere inches apart. "Andrew, you freaking left me all by myself after your family belittled mine at dinner. And now you have t
Today was Wednesday, and I only had to survive Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before finally escaping this suffocating house by Monday. "You've got this," I whispered to my reflection in the bathroom mirror, mustering all the encouragement I could. It was 7:30 and I had just finished taking my bath and was still wrapped up in a towel. I Stepped out of the bathroom to the bedroom. Andrew wasn't in the room cause as usual he had gone out for his morning run.My hair was dripping wet and I tried to hasten the drying process with another towel when I suddenly heard the door open.I thought it was Andrew so I didn't flinch and kept drying my hair. I didn't even bother turning around because I assumed it was definitely him I mean who else would walk into the room without knocking first."How was your run?" I casually asked as I kept trying to dry my hair with the towel. When he didn't answer I turned around suspecting something was wrong.Imagine the dread and the shock that gripped
