143. Trying to Potect

Keeping his phone aside when Shawn looked at Emma she was staring at him. Tilting his head slightly, he raises his eyebrows at her, and shakes her head in no. But as he still carried a light frown on his face, she says, "Nothing" in a low voice and sighing heavily looks at her hands. As if she didn't see something prettier than that.

Shawn's brows wriggled up as a cheeky smile tugged her lips and he could sense she was cooking something in her head. So, he blurted his thoughts out loud asking, "What happened? Do you want something?" And the smile had died making her muscles tense.

What should I tell him now?, she questions herself.

While Shawn seeing her mysteriously silent starts feeling concerned. Is she okay?, he asks himself.

"Ahm.. Yeah. Get me a hot chocolate drink with chocolate ice cream, marshmallows and grated dark chocolate for garnish over it", she utters in a go, craning her neck at him.

"Ain't that too sweet? Are you sure you want to have that at this late hour?",
