Kieran’s POV
Even after the sparring session had ended, I couldn't let go of the anger boiling within me. Aurora was left in my care and yet she was being treated harshly by Elias. At this moment, I started to wonder what ordeal she must have gone through when I was at the war front. Elias was too comfortable and fearless. When I saw him at the training grounds, I made sure to leave a few marks on his body, venting my anger because he was engaged to Aurora. I would have dealt him even more jabs if I knew he was so unruly. The look on her face, the anger and the dislike when she faced Elias told me I couldn't let her go into that marriage no matter what. She would never be herself again if she had to rot with Elias for life. But even though I had that desire, the elders didn't. Last night, after the ball, I made sure to consult the elders for a few minutes about Aurora’s marriage but their decision left me flabbergasted. They were all against the idea of breaking the engagement since they claimed her marriage was for a reason they refused to tell. And they didn't care whether Elias wasn't good enough for Aurora. Frustration fueled within me, angry that I didn't even know the goddamn reason why they wanted the marriage. However, I was definitely going to find out why as I would be resuming my office as the Alpha soon. Knock! Knock!! A knock resounded from the door of the large dining hall and I groaned in response. “Good day, Alpha.” The maids rushed in, carrying plates of different delicacies. I was served and quickly, I dug in, savoring the taste of the food. I had taken a few bites when I felt a bitter taste in my mouth and my chest felt hot. “Alpha, do you need something?” The maid quickly asked but I raised my hand to stop her from approaching. The hotness in my chest ran through my body and in that moment, my eyes shut tight to fight the dizzy spell that overcame me. Immediately, I knew I had been poisoned. “Shit!” I cursed, my eyes snapping up to look at the maid and I noticed she was gone. The other maids were gone too. I needed to get out of the dining hall immediately and swiftly, I rose up to my feet. However, I fell back down, feeling weak all over. And at the same time, a certain part of my body started to gain strength. Through my blurry eyes, I could see the bulge in my pants. “Haha…” I gasped, letting out a small chuckle at the realization of what was going on. Women coveted me but I had made sure to steer clear of their traps but this was unexpected. Bang! A sudden push from the door echoed and hurried footsteps resounded. My eyes caught sight of Aurora rushing toward me. “Uncle Kieran, are you alright?” She touched me, bending over me to feel my forehead. As she continued to bend over, shaking all over, my eyes stared directly at her chest and her bust area which was clad in wet-sweaty cloth and it fueled the fire within me. And when she continued to feel my body, I let out a groan, my control slipping away. “This is not good. Let’s go to your room.” She whispered, worriedly. I let her support me out of the dining hall and as my body rested lightly on hers, I saw through her wet clothes, the outline of her breasts and how they jiggled as she helped me. I couldn't take my eyes off her as we got into my room and I sat on the bed. “I will call the doctor–” “Wait!” I groaned, dreading her absence. Now, I was facing her tiny waist and I didn't stop the urge that told me to grab it. I did, pressing my fingers into the soft flesh beneath her dress. “Uncle Kieran…” She called out confusedly. “What are you doing?” She was confused, her mouth gaped open. However, her hands involuntarily went to my shoulders, holding me tightly. I took the cue to wrap my hands even more tightly around her waist and I rested my head on her torso. At that moment, I knew I wanted her. Her scent, her presence brought me comfort. “I need you. I want you, Aurora…” I whispered, looking up through the swell of her breasts. My palm slowly moved up, tracing the sides of her left breast. “Do you?” I asked. “Ye…yes…” She stuttered, her voice almost inaudible. I was holding onto the last bit of my control and I just wanted to hear her say it. “Say it louder…” I demanded, with a hard groan. “I need you, Kieran. I want you. Take me.” Her voice held certainty that I couldn't misunderstand. Swiftly, I dragged her down to my thighs, splitting her legs open while I grabbed one of her breasts through her dress. “I will give you the best night…” I whispered in her ears, as my lips found hers. ___ The next morning… A jolt from the bed, brought me awake and I felt a splitting headache with my eyes heavy and painful. With a swipe of my palm through my hair, and a shake of my head, I saw flashes of scenes from the night before. “What was that?” I gasped, as another splitting headache hit, but this time, it was much more intense. I looked down at myself to see I was butt naked and the sheets were soaked. “Oh, Goddess!!” I groaned, trying to recall what happened. At that moment, memories flooded into my mind. I saw myself tangled in the sheets with Aurora. At first, I thought I was delusional but then I recalled her screaming my name so loud while I treated her like my little girl. “Oh! Shit! What have I done?” I hurried off the bed, angry and disappointed in myself that I had gone that far with her. She slept off beside me but now she was nowhere to be found. I wanted to go look for her, to ask her how she was doing. I could receive a slap to the face, but I didn't care… I just wanted to see her. I was scrambling around for my clothes when the door opened and the echoing of steady footsteps flowed into my ears. I turned around to see a fair woman, dressed in a red dress with red lips and black wavy hair. Her smile was devilish but dainty. Her face looked familiar as well… “Hello, Alpha Kieran. It’s nice to see you again. Do you remember me?” She smiled. Of course, I did. She was my long-time fiance whom I had not seen in years.Aurora’s POV “Little girl…” Soft whispers of my name flowed into my ears and I groaned softly, rolling in the sheets. My eyes opened slowly, to see the man who plagued my dreams every night hovering over me. “Wake up, my little girl…” He whispered, placing a kiss on the side of my lips. The warmth of his lips caused me to crave more of his kisses and I nudged my lips toward him, silently begging him for more. And he didn't hesitate... His lips hovered over mine at first but then, he pressed on mine harder. I slowly locked my arms around his neck, sucking on his lips and tasting the sweetness of his mouth, while I moaned in between kisses. “Little girl, did you miss me?” He broke the kiss as his body descended on mine. It was at this moment I realized he was naked, and so was I. I was in a different room than mine, his room, on his large bed with my legs spread wide open. “Answer me!” He nudged me with a love bite on my exposed shoulder, leaving his mark. His lips
Aurora’s POV “Ahh…” I gasped, turning around to see the Beta’s son, Elias. “Where are you headed, Aurora? You didn't even notice me.” He said, sounding a bit annoyed as he dragged me even further and I leaned into his arms. I wanted to push him away, repulsed by his sudden touch and his force but I couldn't or else, I would raise concerns not only from the guests but also from the Pack elders. Even Sienna had to calm herself, so she wouldn't react badly to him. “I am sorry, I was distracted…” I whispered, shaking my head to get rid of the invasive thoughts toward him. I gently loosened his grip around my arm but in the next second, he held on tighter. “Tell me, what were you thinking? Us? Our wedding?” Elias asked, his eyes shining mischievously. Oh, right, I was engaged to Elias, and our marriage, which was arranged by the Pack elders would be happening soon. And even though I tried to forget about Kieran and focus on Elias, I just couldn't. He didn't have that
Kieran’s POV “Union…” That word kept ringing in my head as I turned away from Aurora and Elias. It was unexpected and I couldn't decipher if I was angry because the elders didn't consult me before making that decision or I just didn't like the sight of her with the Beta’s son. She was just a girl when I left and now, she was being forced into marriage. At the war front, I wrapped everything up so quickly because I wanted to come home to see my little girl. Even though I never had so many interactions with her, at the back of my mind, I would always recall the little girl who was always in my line of sight. She seemed to appear anywhere I turned or went to, except the war front. There was no way I didn't notice I caught her gaze every single time. And now, I couldn't even have a say, in choosing the best man for her. After all, I left the Pack in the hands of the elders and they had done whatever they dimmed fit for the Pack. Aurora’s POV “The marriage will be canceled…” He whispered to me and all of a sudden, my heart leaped for joy. That was what I wanted and it would just be given to me on a platter of gold! How unbelievable! However, it was indeed unbelievable. My marriage alliance with Elias wasn't something that could be canceled out of the blue. To the elders, it was like a payment for me staying in the Pack as a noble, when I was just an adopted kid. Canceling the marriage would mean I was rebelling. “And then what?” I asked, looking into Kieran’s eyes intensely. However, he was confused, “Huh?” “If you finally cancel the marriage, what then will happen to me? Will I stay lonely forever?” My question was just a hint or a probe, to know what he would do after. Looking into his eyes, the way he watched me intensely made me start to believe he was at least attracted to me. When he rubbed my cheek and lips with his thumb while looking down at me sensually, I desperately wanted to kne
