Chapter 2: The Mugnoson Twins

AU ELITES, the top strongest and powerful group consisting of ten families from different clans. 

Chase and Hunter Mugnoson, eighteen-year-old male twins and currently ranked as the fourth and fifth most powerful students in the school. The two are from the Mugnoson Clan that was one of the members of Au Elites. Their family is currently sitting in the fifth chair. They are just in the middle but they are still scary because of their infamous magic—puppetry magic. All of their clan members learned the same kind of magic under the puppetry magic. Some examples of puppetry magic are body puppetry magic, shadow puppetry magic and nature puppetry magic.

Unfortunately, Chase and Hunter knew body puppetry magic that is why she is currently unable to move. And before she even knew it, she was already doing a flirty dance in front of every student who was there at the moment.

Whistles and malicious side comments from the guys echoed to her ears as if bombs were being dropped while she was trying to take control of her body. 

But of course, she failed. That is why crying was the only thing she could do while doing things she never thought she would in her whole life.

It was just... She is too unlucky. Even when their school was so prestigious, it never prohibited the students to use their magic outside the classroom. One time, she asked a teacher about this and what he only replied to her was; as long as no one is killing other students, it’s fine.

Fine? What is fine with this? Every time she got closer to the higher rank students, especially to those from ten down to the lower numbers, she always felt as though her death was closer. She felt as though her lifespan always decreases.

"Brother, this is getting boring," Chase suddenly uttered with a mischievous smirk.

Chase’s brother, Hunter, also smirks deviously. The latter was said to be only older for a few minutes that is why Chase still treats him as his older brother. Aside from that, Hunter used his head more often than his brother who always did things recklessly without thinking.

"I see," she heard Hunter comment before the two of them suddenly appeared in front of her. 

Wait! They didn't seem like they moved. 

Did they just make her run!? She didn't even realize what happened. In a blink, she is already in front of them!

"Let's have a little strip show here and this marionette will be the stripper," Hunter announced, which made the audience go berserk like ferocious beasts in the mountains being given delicious prey.

"Sounds good?" 

Everyone cheered with hype while the lust lingering inside the men's eyes were starting to be visible as Crostelia’s body was already on its way to being fully developed. She wasn’t thin or thick. Her breasts were on the process as they weren’t too big but they were neither small—they were full and in place. What added more to their excitement was her face. Although she was known to be weak, she is also known as a beauty that is why a lot of women were so jealous of her for making a lot of heads turn.

Crostelia’s eyes were once again filled with tears after hearing what the twins just announced to everyone. The tears started to fall like a heavy rain after she found herself dancing while her hands were starting to slowly unbutton her upper uniform.

She tried to roam her eyes but what she saw was only limited as her head couldn’t still move. But there was no teacher. There was no one to stop the severe bullying that was happening which was her only hope. No one was there.

That moment, she lost her light.

While they were busy lusting over her body, Crostelia’s heart was starting to be filled with fear and anxiety. Until, she didn’t know why but it felt like the world suddenly stopped. At the same time, her heart suddenly started to race too fast and beat too loud like drums that made her experience an intense pain she never felt before. Her heart felt as though it was being twisted and smashed forcefully by a hand!

She agonizingly groaned that the noise died down. Everyone was confused at what was happening. Why the hell is she groaning in pain when she was just supposed to cry out of embarrassment and humiliation?

"Brother, what are you doing?!" Chase asked his brother, confused.

Killing was never allowed in their hierarchical school. Once you killed a fellow, you'd end up losing your magic—that was a lot worse than dying. Because in their magical world named Verendus, power is everything. Without power, a person is just nothing.

"I'm not doing anything, I swear!" Hunter said, panicky.

With that, everyone started to panic while wondering about the poor girl's situation. 

While they were busy in chaos, Crostelia couldn't help it but to continue screaming her lungs out because of the unbearable pain she is currently suffering from.

"You, two! I was already pissed when I left. We still have a meeting in the student council office and the two of you are late. Are you planning to anger him even more?" 

Silence fell over the students who were in chaos after hearing the voice of one of the most famous guys in the whole school that was also being admired by a lot of female students and teachers.

As if an angel suddenly went down from heaven, the noise from the crowd died down and only Crostelia’s groan was heard. Liev walked with elegance and class in the middle of the sea of students that went frozen because of the strong presence that he carried. As if a king, when the students recovered from his visitation, they immediately gave a way until the sea of people got cut in half while giving a path to only one person.

That was how big the effect of every student who belonged to the Au Elites—especially those who are in the higher rank.

A warm pair of hands sent heat to her cold, corpse-like body—that somehow reduced the pain she was feeling in her heart. Without even realizing it, she was already wearing a big, warm, white jacket with a scent that was unfamiliar to her.

"Hunter, Chase, stop this childishness. You wouldn't like the consequence once this girl died," Liev said in a serious tone.

"We already stopped using our magic on her when she started screaming. We only made her our puppet but we're not at fault at her suffering! We didn't even hurt her!" Chase exclaimed that sounded so defensive and made Liev look at him with doubtful eyes.

"We promise," Hunter added, which made Liev glance back to Crostelia who seemed to calm down a bit during that moment.

"Are you okay?" Liev asked, and that sounded like music to her ears.

"I-I’m alright now," the lady replied, panting because of two reasons; first, the guy she was admiring was the one who asked her; second, there is still a lingering pain inside her heart but it is a little bearable compared to the one earlier.

"Go to the clinic to get yourself checked. I'm sorry if we can't accompany you there. We have to leave now or we'll be dead meat later. Take care," Liev said with a bright smile before he disappeared to her sight.

The next thing that happened after the disappearance of the three young men was the dispersion of the students who wanted to look at the gossip-worthy incident. The only one left there was the young lady who wore a wide and sweet smile with blushing cheeks.

"He talked to me..." Crostelia said slowly before her eyes gradually widened in shock. 

A few minutes more passed by before she finally processed everything that happened. A scream wanted to get out of her mouth but she quickly stopped herself while shaking her head—still unable to believe what happened.
