Yvette didn't have the time or energy to deal with Jeana yet. So, once she got downstairs, she had breakfast with Noah.

Once they finished their meal, she watched as Noah left for school. Then, she was ready to head for work.

However, Jeana stopped her. "Yvette, has Xavier agreed to it?"

"What do you mean?" Yvette was confused.

"Has he agreed to work at Lane Group? Didn't Aunt Shannon tell you to go to Lane Group with Xavier a few days later?" Jeana paused for a moment and said in embarrassment, "You even promised that I could be his assistant."

Yvette finally remembered about it and realized what was going on. "You should ask your Aunt Shannon about it. I'm not in contact with him, and I don't know if he has agreed to it."

When Jeana heard that, she couldn't help secretly scolding Yvette for not being excited about working at Lane Group. She thought Yvette was useless and deserved to be a housewife forever.

"If there's nothing else, I'm going to work on my music now."
