Yvette had never expected that Xavier would actually move out of Dewberry Manor. As he left, he had Mark hand her a bank card.

"All the money for you and the kids is in here. Don't contact me unless it's necessary," Xavier said coldly before getting into the car.

Mark looked apologetic as he turned to Yvette and said, "Mrs. Lane, please don't be upset. You know Mr. Lane's unwell. Even I haven't been able to quite understand his actions lately."
