Shannon was on the phone, sounding furious. "I never imagined Daphne would be so disgraceful. She's not even as good as Yvette. At least Yvette stayed with us for three years without causing any trouble."

"Maybe she thought it was insignificant, and she didn't know initially that Daphne had taken her place."

Shannon fell silent. Looking at the photo of the two socialites on the table, she felt guilty about her past actions toward Yvette.
