My stomach was in knots. I got dressed in my black dress and heels and got armored up today with red lipstick, and a smoky eye. Liam left last night around midnight after our second movie was over with a warning to be ready by noon since the wedding started at one.

I sat on my bed put on my earrings and wiped my sweaty hands on my dress. I shaved everything in the shower that morning and felt ready. I could face this.

Liam arrived at twelve on the dot and when he saw me in the lobby of the hotel, his eyebrows raised and he whistled.

"Looks like you're all decked out for a funeral." I scoffed at his comment and stepped back.

"Does this look okay?"

"Yeah. More than okay. I don't know how many times I have to tell you for you to believe me, but you're gorgeous. I'm sure it'll be hard for James to say his vows with you in the room."
