Ominous forest

Alice sure had seen a lot of bizarre things in the supernatural world but this was definitely the top on her list.

"What the hell did she mean by that? When the horses are neighing? For goodness sake there are no horses here but mainly vehicles!" Alice was stumped as she talked to herself and made her way home. While walking, the words of the old woman lingered in her head. When her head began aching, Alice gave up on the idea of finding out the meaning behind the old woman's words.

Staring at her departing back, a frightening figure hissed loudly as blood flowed from its body. Its fangs out and claws drawn out as it silently began following behind Alice.

Alice subconsciously turned back because she felt the surprisingly cold air on her back but there was nothing. If only she looked downward, she'd have noticed the shadow of the one behind her.
