“Lisa. Oh my goodness, what do I do?” Evelyn said, panicking as she checked if Lisa was still breathing.

The door to the house opened and Lisa looked up to check who it was and saw Diana come in.

“Diana, thank Goodness. Lisa was eating and just suddenly passed out. I didn't know what went wrong?” Evelyn said.

Diana squatted down beside Lisa, checking her pulse to see if she was still breathing.

She found out she was and mind linked her husband.

“Please come to Lisa's house, I need your help,” Diana said.

“Alright. I am on my way,” Beta Luke said.

“What did she eat?” Diana asked.

“Pancakes,” Evelyn replied.

“What happened?” Beta Luke asked as he saw Lisa lying unconsciously on the floor.

“I don't know yet but from these rashes on her body. I think she is having an allergic reaction. Let's get her to the hospital,” Diana said.

“Okay,” Beta Luke lifted Lisa from the floor and they made their way to the hospital.

Diana swiftly put her on the bed and examined her, confirming it was indeed

The one who is accommodating us in her house at the moment,” Viola clarified.“I am confused. Why will you be sensing a bad energy from her? She is a good person, she is nice to us,” Evelyn argued.“I just want you to be careful, that is what I sense from her,” Viola said.“Viola, you are jealous because she slept with your mate before you could get the chance to,” Evelyn said, laughing at Viola.“No, that is not it. I don't just know why I am getting this dark energy from her,” Viola insisted.“Alright, alright, I will be careful,” Evelyn said.***“Welcome back,” Evelyn said to Lisa as she came back from the hospital“Thank you. “You asked to see me, Alpha,” Evelyn said as she entered Grayson's office.“The hunters have struck again,” Alpha Grayson said.“Which pack did they attack this time?” Evelyn asked, her stomach churning at the memories of the horrific ordeal her pack went through at the hands of the hunters.“Greenfield Pack,” Grayson said.“Oh my goodness! That Pack shares a border with ours,” Evelyn exclaimed as she covered her mouth with her hands.“I know. I think they are currently in that area, my source tells me that,” Grayson said.“Let us go there right now before they wipe all the packs in that area, please,” Evelyn pleaded.“Not so fast, I've sent a spy to that area to map it out first. You don't go to a battlefield without having an idea of what you are going to meet. We have to know how they operate, their strengths and weaknesses. That will help us to prepare how we can attack them,” Grayson explained.“Wise words,” Viola complimented.“I don't know why they are doing this. What do they

I don't understand why you are worried or trying to reject it. This will make you get closer to Grayson, you need to impress him,” Lisa said.“That is the problem. I don't know what he likes or dislikes. I don't know the activities the pack members would love,” Evelyn lamented.“That's simple, you just need to find out, that's all,” Lisa said.“Will you help me? Please,” Evelyn pleaded.“I am sorry. I will not be able to. “Why? What is wrong with it?” Evelyn asked with a puzzled expression.Alpha Grayson muttered a curse under his breath and stormed out of the square in anger.“Hyacinth and Peony are flowers Grayson hates the most in his life. How could you not ask before you used it?” Diana said, shaking her head.“What? Lisa asked me to use these flowers, she said Grayson loved them,” Evelyn said, in bewilderment.“Lisa told you that?” Beta Luke asked in surprise.“I swear on my dead parents' grave,” Evelyn said.“Stop lying! Lisa would never tell you that. She knows Grayson hates these flowers because their scents remind him of our mother. Hyacinth and Peony is our mother's scent,” Diana bitterly expressed.“Oh, Lisa is here. You can ask her,” Evelyn said as she saw Lisa entering the square.“What's happening? Is everything alright?” Lisa asked.“Lisa, why did you tell me to use Hyacinth and Peony when you knew Grayson hated those flowers?” Evelyn asked Lisa.“What? I never asked you to use these fl

Evelyn entered the house and was surprised to see the whole house disorganized. “Lisa,” She called out, a little bit scared. She gently tried to find her way around the broken objects on the floor. She was mindful of her steps as she walked towards the room to check on Lisa. Suddenly, Lisa appeared before her in a disheveled state, her clothes torn and her hair untidy. She launched an attack on Evelyn with her claws, scratching and drawing out blood from her arm. “Ouch,” Evelyn cried out in pain and quickly backed away from Lisa. “What was that for, Lisa?” Evelyn asked, in shock. "Grayson is mine, Grayson is mine," Lisa whispered under her breath as she advanced menacingly towards Evelyn, aiming to strike her across the face. Evelyn dodged the attack, sending Lisa flying in the air and landing on the floor with a thud. “My goodness, Lisa, do not injure yourself. Think about your pup, What is happening to you?” Evelyn cried out. Lisa stood up letting out a maliciou

Evelyn slowly parted her eyelids as the dawn's light illuminated her face. She had spent the night at the square after she had run away from Lisa. Her mind flashed back to the events of the previous day, Grayson's warning and Lisa's attack on her.She sat up and noticed her cloth was rumpled. She needed to take a warm bath and change her clothes before the start of activities for the day. She could not afford the pack members to see her in a disheveled state. However, she was at a total loss on what to do, she could not go back to Lisa's house to change her clothes and she had no other place to go to.“Should I go to Grayson?” She thought in her heart.“You might run into Diana and you would not want to start explaining what had happened, she will not believe you,” Viola chipped in.“What should I do? It is a big day, I cannot appear like this before the pack members,” Evelyn sadly said.“Stand up,” Viola said.“Why?” Evelyn asked.“Just do as I say,” Viola insisted.“Alright,” Evely

"I'm afraid our plans may have to change," he said, his voice trembling slightly, unsure of how Jerry would take the news."How? What happened?" Jerry’s voice was sharp, his eyes narrowing as he leaned forward in his seat.James took a deep breath and quickly relayed everything—the chaos in the pack, the attack on Diana, Evelyn’s disappearance, and Grayson’s collapse into despair. "I didn’t expect it to spiral like this. Grayson’s not just emotionally broken, He’s a shadow of himself now." James explained."How could this happen?" Jerry scoffed, kicking the air in frustration. "How are we supposed to lure Grayson out of the pack now?"James hesitated, then spoke, his voice low, almost pleading."There’s no need to lure him out. He’s not a threat anymore. He’s weak and vulnerable. You could come in and attack the pack directly. But… I ask that you don’t destroy everything."A dark smile tugged at Jerry’s lips. "He’s a shadow of himself, you say? That means the poison worked," he said,

"I told you, Grayson is a curse to this pack, but you refused to believe me. Now look at what’s happened again!" James said sharply, pacing the room as he addressed Demas and Gaius. "This is the second scandal within his family."Demas shook his head, his expression dark. "Enough is enough! Grayson must step down immediately, or we’ll have no choice but to take action against him."James smirked, folding his arms. "He’s already a shadow of himself as we speak. His weakness is evident.""That’s his problem," Gaius sneered. "What matters now is Silvermoon Pack’s future. We need a leader who won’t be so easily blinded or betrayed by women."The three shared a cold laugh, their disdain for the Alpha filling the room."I’ll meet with Robert," James suggested after the laughter subsided. "We need to know if he’s willing to join our cause or not."Demas scoffed dismissively. "Robert? That self-righteous fool? He’ll never agree. He’ll talk about loyalty to the Alpha until his dying breath.""

Grayson leaned back in his chair, a faint smile tugging at his lips as he listened to Beta Luke.“They fought?” Grayson asked, his voice tinged with amusement.“Yes,” Luke confirmed. “It’s the talk of the pack now. They said it was a heated face-off, and Evelyn said some pretty harsh words.”Grayson chuckled, shaking his head. “Girls’ squabbles. I’m sure it’s nothing serious. But I’ll talk to Evelyn. Diana knows how to push buttons.”Luke's expression shifted to concern. “I get that, but you know how much the pack loves Diana. Even if she provoked Evelyn, I don’t want Evelyn to be seen as a villain. Especially now.”Grayson nodded, his tone softening. “You’re right. I’ll make sure she keeps her composure. But you should talk to your wife too—let her know when to stop provoking my bride.”Luke laughed reluctantly, nodding. “Fair enough. I’ll deal with Diana.”The conversation shifted, growing more serious. Grayson leaned forward, his fingers drumming on the desk.“By the way, Luke,” he

Evelyn became so engrossed in wedding preparations that she barely had time to visit Grayson. Her days were packed with meetings—visiting the seamstress, coordinating with caterers, and overseeing the decorators in the pack’s square. As Evelyn stood in the square, giving instructions to a group of decorators hanging floral garlands, she noticed Diana walking into the bustling area. Evelyn’s face lit up with hope, thinking Diana might have come to show support or perhaps even to reconcile.“Diana! What brings you here?” Evelyn greeted, her voice warm with optimism.Diana’s eyes narrowed as she folded her arms across her chest, her posture exuding disdain. Evelyn’s smile faltered, sensing the hostility.“I can see you’ve finally achieved your mission in this pack,” Diana said coldly, her tone laced with contempt.Evelyn’s brows furrowed. “What are you talking about, Diana? I don’t understand.”Diana scoffed, her expression hard. “How could you not understand? This was your goal all

It screams elegance but still keeps that ethereal Luna vibe.”Evelyn laughed, brushing her fingers over the fabric. “You’ve thought about this more than I have.”“Well, someone has to! You’re marrying an Alpha, Evelyn. You can’t just show up in a plain dress,” Tara teased.Evelyn rolled her eyes, smiling. “I wasn’t planning on wearing plain clothes, thank you very much. But I want something… simple. Nothing too extravagant.”Tara gasped dramatically, clutching her chest. “Simple? Evelyn, no. You’re not just any bride; you’re going to be Luna! You have to shine, especially with some of those pack members still grumbling. This is your moment to shut them up with sheer beauty.”Evelyn shook her head, laughing. “I d

He resumed back to the office and started attending to his duties once more.Seated behind the large oak desk in his office, Grayson looked through the pile of reports Beta Luke had left on his desk. A rogue sighting near their borders and the recent unrest within the pack were among the top concerns. He let out a sigh but straightened when Elder Robert knocked and entered."Alpha Grayson, may I have a word?" Elder Robert asked, bowing slightly."Make it quick, Elder," Grayson said, his voice firm and unkind.Elder Robert stepped forward, his expression a mix of concern and frustration. The room was dimly lit, with only the soft glow of the bedside lamp casting a golden hue on the walls. Grayson reclined against a stack of pillows, his features more relaxed than they had been in days. Evelyn sat by his side, her fingers gently brushing through his hair. It was a quiet, intimate moment that neither wanted to break, though unspoken thoughts lingered between them.Grayson’s voice broke the silence. “You don’t have to keep hovering over me, you know.” His tone was light, but his eyes were full of warmth as they rested on her.“Look who's talking?” Evelyn teased, a playful smile tugging at her lips. “That's exactly the way you treated me when I was on the sick bed too.”Grayson chuckled softly, the sound low and gravelly. “So this is revenge.”Evelyn leaned closer, her smile softening. “Yes, Alpha.
