Tycelyn's POV
I pushed Summer away from me when her eyes met my wrist, "I'm sorry," She apologized, she picked up a napkin from the table and began to wipe the blood on my hand. I tried to change the past yet it happened in another way. The scar I was trying to prevent still happened. I looked at Summer in confusion, she was cleaning my hand and didn't ask about the date written on my hand. I pushed Summer away from me again, "What is wrong with you?!" I yelled surprising everyone, this was the first time I yelled at Summer. "No, what's wrong with you?!" Brayon yelled at me, What's his problem? Why was he angry that I was yelling at Summer? "I will go change," I ignored everyone and whatever they were saying and went straight to my room. I entered the bathroom, poured water on my face, and stared at the mirror as I realized it was only me who could see the date written on my wrist and no one else. This wasn't a dream but my reality. I had lived past 2020 and I had died in 2024, everything was real but how did I go back to 2020? How do I even go back to 2024? How was everything possible? I can't talk to anyone about it, they will think I'm crazy even I think I'm crazy, how do I even begin to explain that I'm from 2024, no maybe I'm mistaken. That's crazy, Tycelyn wake up, this isn't a movie where you wake up in the past, I must be dreaming. I cleaned up my hand and searched through my closet looking for what to wear but there was nothing available apart from that same dress. I laughed, the dress I was avoiding now I was finally wearing it. I stared at the date written on my wrist, "I'm really losing my mind right now." I was approaching the sitting room when I heard voices, I guess the guests were already here and no one informed me about it and I hadn't had breakfast. "I see she is here," Kreed chuckled and everyone followed suit when I arrived at the living room. I felt disgusted being in the same room as the people who tried to kill me or rather the people who killed me. I was in the same room with the bastard who didn't spare his child, I was in the same room with the serpent who didn't spare her sister, I was in the same room with the people who didn't think twice about killing me. "We were wondering if you were trying to look hot for my brother," Emily said and everyone laughed. I couldn't laugh along because I knew their true colors and I was still confused by what was going on. "Nice seeing you, Mr. Cyrus," I greeted Kreed and his family coldly before sitting next to Father. I needed to be composed then later I would figure out what to do. "What took you so long Tycelyn? We already finalized the wedding date," Father said and I nodded my head with a forceful smile on my face. I looked around me to see everyone was happy, everyone was happy for different reasons. The Cyrus family were happy they had someone they could maltreat, suck dry and use to their advantage. They are only agreeing to this Marriage because they don't know I'm adopted and believe I'm the actual first child of this family. Kreed was happy because once the marriage was finalized with the eldest daughter of this family, it would seal a great deal for him. Father was happy because he was sending off his daughter, I wasn't sure why Ziora was happy and Brayon didn't care. Mother was happy because I could finally move out of her home and she could use it for her selfish desires. I didn't see it this way before but now, it's all different. "The dressmaker brought your dress for fitting, so I would suggest you go in and try it so if there is any problem, it can be resolved," Kreed's Mother said with a loving smile on her face, they are all hiding their through color. "Okay," I nodded my head, stood up and the dressmaker followed behind me to my room. When I got to my room, I tried the design I picked some weeks before today, it was a beautiful white ball princess gown. It was lovely but I didn't like it, it was the dress that started my pain. "I have never seen a bride look happy yet so sad," the dressmaker said, bringing me back to reality. "Huh?" I asked because I wasn't sure what I had heard. "Nothing, You look beautiful, let's go downstairs and show everyone the dress you picked," the dressmaker suggested, I didn't care and just followed her downstairs. Everyone loved and complimented my dress while I was in another world, I could hear their playful batters but couldn't understand at that moment. I looked at myself, what was I doing? I was killed because I married him, I was killed because I loved him. What if God was giving me another chance to right my wrongs? What if God wanted me to correct the past? What if God wanted me to destroy the man who didn't spare his child? Fuck that shit, I wasn't going through with the wedding, I might not understand what was going on but I think this is my second chance and I should use it well. I picked up the fruit knife from the table while everyone was busy having a conversation and tore my princess ball wedding gown into a short mini gown, the pearls and crystals falling to the floor, bringing everyone's attention to me. "What do you think you are doing!" Mother yelled and placed her hand on the back of her neck. I looked at everyone carefully before saying what I would never dare to say in my entire existence, "I refuse to be the wife of Mr Kreed Cyrus."Tycelyn's POVKreed walked closer to me but I instantly backed away from him, "Did I do something wrong?" Kreed asked innocently. Maybe if it was in the past I would have melted and changed my mind but right now I feel irritated by his voice alone. When did he fall for my sister? Before our marriage or during our marriage?"Did you arrange this Marriage to humiliate us!" Kreed's mom got up from the chair and yelled."I'm sorry," I felt bad as Father lowered his head to apologize, this was the first time I had seen Father lower his head for anyone."Sorry won't fix this," Emily replied before her mother could say anything, "You called for the alignment, your daughter humiliated us and now you are saying just sorry?""I'm sorry, we will fix the problem and get back to you with the marriage date, we will also make the necessary arrangements for the wedding, I really hope this will be enough to cover up the humiliation," I watched as those words came out of Ziora's mouth. Who does she thi
Tycelyn's POV I looked at my watch, checking the time for the 100th time since I got to the cafe. I and Daphne were supposed to meet up here but she hasn't arrived for some reason. I knew it was just five minutes late but these five minutes seem like eternity. "I'm sorry I kept you waiting," Daphne sat on the chair and kept her bag on the other chair. Seeing Daphne made tears well up in my eyes and memories flooded in, "Daph," I got up from my sit, hugged her, and burst into tears "Tycelyn are you okay?" Daphne asked, "What did they do to you?" She pulled away from the hug searching my face. "No, I…I…just miss you," I sobbed louder. "You missed me, that's why you are crying? But we saw some days back," Daphne chuckled and I wiped away the tears from my eyes because I couldn't explain shit. "Don't mind me, I was being dramatic," I forced a smile on my face as I sat next to her. "So why did you call?" Daphne relaxed in her chair. I pulled my chair closer, "It's about yo
Tycelyn's POV"I hate when the rain touches me," Kenzal glanced at his shoulder and the rain was pouring from the edge of the umbrella onto his shoulder."I'm sorry," I apologized and followed his footsteps till we got to the entrance of the door."Thank you," Kenzal nodded his head in acknowledgment of what I had just said, gave the umbrella to the concierge standing right in front of the door, and entered the hotel without sparing me a glance."What did I just witness?" Daphne gushed when I entered the hotel, "And as a journalist, I got pictures of it.""Oh, what do you plan on using the pictures to do?" I sat on the chair meant for my family."I work for the media so I will use it well," Daphne handed me her phone to check the pictures.I took the phone from her hand. The pictures were beautiful, both Kenzal and I walking on the stairs while it was raining and he was holding an umbrella over my head. If I didn't know better, I would have thought we were couples.I handed Daphne her
Tycelyn's POV Amusement sparkled in Kenzal's eyes as he waited for my answer. If I were to make the decision here, does that mean in terms of work? And if I were to make the decision in the room, a man and a woman behind closed doors, everyone knows what that means. "Tycelyn what are you doing here?" Ziora raised her eyebrows, "How do you two know each other?" Ziora asked as her well-manicured finger rested on Kenzal's shoulders. Right then I knew I needed to make a decision and without thinking twice I picked up the card from the table and kept it inside my bag. "Miss Ziora, I guess we would have to fix another date, right now I have a date with Miss Tycelyn," Kenzal got up from the chair and stretched out his hand for me. I smiled and politely took his help to get up, "Excuse us." "What nonsense is this!" Ziora yelled at the top of her lungs bringing others' attention to us, "I swear to the heavens I will make you pay!" she yelled. I had my mind crossed because I knew w
Tycelyn's POVMother's secretary picked the remote from the table and turned on the TV, "It's everywhere.""Heiress to the Jahani Empire and CEO Kenzal spotted entering a hotel room together, what could this mean?" Mother's secretary read the headline out loud.I turned to see what was spreading like wildfire everywhere and to my surprise it was videos and pictures of both I and Kenzal. "Tycelyn Juhani and Kenzal Mosiah were spotted at the launch dinner event together, could this be a wedding news?" Mother's secretary said out loud again. Her voice was filled with excitement for someone who looked concerned. The first one was the picture taken by Daphne at the hotel on that rainy night and the second picture was of me and Kenzal entering his hotel room. Who could have taken the second one?"This could be a marriage rumor because the last thing on the media was Miss Tycelyn was engaged to Mr Kreed Cyrus, so did Miss Tycelyn cheat on Mr Kreed with CEO Kenzal?" Mother's secretary read a
Tycelyn's POV"Who is he now?" Kreed's Mother asked her eyes on mother."Call the security," Mother yelled at her secretary, "Who even let him enter the hall in the first place?""Young man, why do you object to this wedding?" The priest asked amidst the argument."Are you even asking that question," Ziora glared at the priest. If eyes could murder, the priest would have been six feet under by now."How can the man standing at the altar marry an already married woman whose husband is still alive?" Kenzal said and just then the reporters in the room brought out their cameras and phones."Your wife?" Kreed muttered innocently under his breath, since I was close to him, I heard it loud and clear."Drop the cameras!" Mom's secretary yelled but the Media refused to listen and they continued taking shots of what was going on in front of them."Mother, what does he mean by Tycelyn is married?" Ziora asked calmly."Let me rephrase, how can Mr Kreed Cyrus marry my wife Mrs Tycelyn Mosiah?" Ken
Tycelyn's POV"They were going to marry a murderer into our family," Kreed's Mother rested herself on her daughter Emily dramatically."What are you saying?" I couldn't understand what Ziora was saying, what did she mean by that? The case was closed at least that was what I could remember.Things are different now, things are changing, in my first life Ziora never talked about any evidence of the fire incident but she is talking about it now.Whenever I try to change the past, something always happens."Miss Ziora are you trying to say Mrs. Tycelyn killed her family when she was younger? Are you saying your sister is a Psychopath?""She isn't saying that, Ziora must have misunderstood what she saw and she is currently on drugs and doesn't know what she is saying," Mother interrupted the reporter's questions. For some reason, Mother seemed disturbed and scared of what Ziora had just said, she lied about Ziora being on drugs. Why did she lie? What evidence does Father have?"Mother," Zi
Tycelyn's POV"What did you and my grandma talk about?" Kenzal asked, he glanced at me but his attention was still on the road."Nothing much," I smiled and quickly changed the topic, "So what's next?""For now, I will drop you off at your place, send me your contract then in the meantime we can fix a date for the wedding," Kenzal answered, I guess he already has everything figured out in his head."Let's go to the hotel or your place instead," Kenzal immediately stepped on the brakes and gave me a shy look."Th..tha…that…that's…that's…quite…hmmm…fast," I laughed at Kenzal trying to form his words."Nothing weird," I laughed, "I mean let's just do the contract there right now and fix a date for the wedding.""Oh, I was scared for a moment," Kenzal started the car again and made a U-turn."That's rich coming from someone who gave me his hotel card the very first day we met," I rolled my eyes playfully."No, I was intrigued, I mean a random girl doesn't walk up to you and ask you to mar
