EVE'S POV Since the owner of the shop had appeared, I had been stuck in a stupor. When he showed up, I had expected him to inquire what was going on, and I was curious as to how Morgan was going to engage with him. But Instead, when the man appeared, he immediately took our side before listening to his staff's explanations. What followed, was him asking the staff to apologise to us, and firing them even shocked me further. Not to mention him saying that we could shop whatever clothes we wanted for free. MORGAN'S POV My brain caught up with my body a second too late, and I froze, my hands going still around her and my lips freezing against her neck. EVE'S POV That morning, my department had a meeting, but my mind was barely in the room as various teams presented their reports. I was busy trying to untangle the puzzle that the previous night had left in my mind. No matter how hard I tried to urge myself to not think about it, it didn't take long before my thoughts slides back to that territory.What must I have been thinking?
