Chapter Three•I Don't Deserve This, I Don't

The whole crowd that gathered made nihilism sounds as the looked at their Alpha with dubiety, they were obviously in shock of how someone will introduce his mate to the whole pack in a minute and in the next he's rejecting her.

"You can go ."

He ordered turning to his side where Ellen stood .

She slowly climbed down the stairs as tears of opprobrium and oblogny filled her eyes threatening to make her more embarrass then she already is.

All eyes fixed on her as she walked away from the area to the omegas hall,it was like the entire pack members made an aisle for her to pass through, her tears finally let itself down her cheeks making her gain the pity and sympathy from almost everyone in the pack, which she damn doesn't need.

'I'm an omega after all, I don't deserve to be the Luna, I am just an Omega, who probably doesn't have anything to offer, maybe not probably, I can't offer anything to him, I can't offer anything to anyone...

Not to him not to his pack..!'

Ellen thought within herself as tears rolled down her eyes on their own, her heart twitched in a great pain that she let out a wince..

ah...

she thought it won't hurt but actually it does..

It really does hurt to know how much people don't just want to be with you..

Her mom and her dad, they both left her ...

Her little best friend, her brother, he also left her...

but not on their own will,though ..

but still they all left her.

And now she's left to face the most embarrassing thing in a her life,

To be rejected by her mate infront of the whole pack maybe it wouldn't have hurt had he just rejected her plainly without having to call the whole pack members...

but he just did that to mea-culpa her, to put shame on her..

or perhaps all these are because she came from his enemy's pack.

At a point she began to run as fast as she could, she ran till her legs could no longer carry her any further, she slumped on the ground when her legs became too weak.

Then she began to bawl her eyes out.

she cried till even tears said no to her.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

Ellen heard a familiar voice and footsteps approaching her.

She looked up and saw it was her friend Kelly .

"Ellen, I know it hurts alot to be rejected by your mate in that manner, but still you don't have to dwell in that, I know one thing is sure, whether you have another mate or not, someone out there will love and cherish you because you deserve more than that, Ellen stop crying and move on with your life, this is definitely not the end of it."

kelly said to Ellen who looked up at her and the tears she thought had dried up began to drip down her cheeks like spring water.

Maybe this was actually what she needed a shoulder to lean on.

A friend who knows when to be there, when you need them the most..

"Kelly have you done it."

someone asked Kelly over the phone.

she looked around to know if anyone was coming but then she saw none, she replied to the person on the line.

"yes I have done it, you can come check on it by tomorrow."

she said almost in a whisper to the person on the other line.

She hung up the call after she said those words and she still looked around the place before he started heading back inside the omegas hall.

it's been a month since Alpha Damien rejected Ellen as his mate and as Kelly had told her she continued her life as though nothing had taken place and she began to get one thing straight...

No matter what happens in her life she needs to overcome it, if not for anything in the world for one precious person in her life Right now.

For herself...

"Ellen!

Ellen!

Ellen!"

Kelly shouted on top of her voice when she saw Ellen heading over to her matress maybe to take some of her clothes to wash as she was asked to wash some of the park members clothes.

"Kelly, I didn't hear you, am sorry for the stress."

Ellen responded apologitically to her.

"No need for that, is just that I urgently need your help with something."

Kelly said to her dragging her hand along with her not even giving her any options.

On there way to wherever Kelly was taking her to, they saw victor heading to the Omega's hall with the pack warriors behind him.

She was very nervous when she saw him but when he looked at her and continued his walk,she felt a little better.

When they came back from the place Kelly asked her to accompany her to, they were surprised to see Victor scattering the corner where Ellen sleeps...

"what are they doing?"

she asked the person standing in front of her .

"They are searching for the Alpha's ancentral staff which was given to him by his late father.

Ellen looked inside the hall

to observe that the way he searched others belonging was not the way he searched her's.

she became infuriated and meant to take a step towards him when he raised his head which he has long buried in to her bag of clothes with a short cane like object in his hand.

"Where is Ellen!"

Victor shouted on top of his voice.

Everyone separated themselves from where she stood so that she is singled out.

Ellen's eyes almost bulged out.

Even Kelly, she thought Kelly will at least stand by her and tell him she can't do that but it seems Kelly was the first person to detach herself from her.

she thought they were friends..

"Hey take her now to the ceremonial Stage...

now!"

Victor shouted at the people he came with .

Before Ellen knew it she was being dragged by her hands to the ceremonial ground in quick strides not even minding that she wasn't a werewolf like them all, at a point she fall on the ground, they cared less as they continued to drag her, crushing her body on the floor till they reached the ceremonial Stage.

Right now she only has a glint of hope that the Alpha will at least give her the benefit of doubt and question her at least...

The Alpha was already standing on the ceremonial Stage when they reached there.

she looked up and met his gaze on her ...

she still held to that tiny little hope till...

"Burial her alive...!"

When those words excaped from his lips a string of tears fell from her eyes wetting her cheeks.

This was supposed to be her mate ...

How can he hate his mate so badly on no just course...

Maybe her biggest mistake was to be his mate..

But that wasn't her decision ...

It was never hers.

As if victor just won a lottery he began to tear off her clothes immediately touching everything he always wanted to.

Ellen shouted in defence, trying to know if the Alpha will hear her pleads and at least stop them but no...

Her pleas just went on a rocky path of his ear...

Finally she's here...

"Let me out...

Let me out...!

Please let me out...

I didn't do anything to deserve this....

I didn't steal anything...."

Ellen kept shouting as she hit the top of the coffin where she was put into.

As she kept shouting and using her vigor to hit it,she observed one thing,

Her strenght was failing her...

Her breath was fading at each breath she took, she knew she was no longer taking in the usual air but..

The same thing she exhales..

And..

Death was smiling broadly at her...

with opened arms...

she stopped hitting the top of the coffin when she knew it was useless...

Her own breath began to choke her...

she was dying...

Tears rolled down her cheeks , maybe that was the only one left...

'I don't deserve this..

I'm sure..

I don't..

Life you have really been so cruel to me..

As if I wasn't human to begin with ...

why is it that you made my life more hell than death...'

Her breath choked more..

And her eyes began to close weakly.

she closed her eyes tightly and with the last strength she didn't know she can mutter she said

"if only am given a chance with life again..

I vow to make all of you see what pain is like..

I will make sure you experience nothing but...

Pain...

If only life permits me aga....in..."

She said as her eyes closed into darkness and her soul faded away to vanity...
