“Come, let me show you something.” Ronan said, disengaging from the hug and pulling stacey towards the door.

He held her hand as they both walked down the hallway, passing the empty dining table and outside the door. They made their way towards the garden before Ronan finally stopped.

“Is this what you want to show me? I know this place already. I used to come here.”

“Well, this is what I want to show you and I know you know it already.” Ronan replied before facing her.

“My mother loved flowers. Back then, she’s mostly at the flower garden, humming to a song while she took care of the flowers. To me it was just a waste of time and energy because she could be doing a lot more other things than the flower but she chose that.”

“But she loved the flowers. She would water them, treat them, spend most of her time here, trim them. No one was allowed to touch her flowers without her knowing.” Ronan said, a sad smile on her face.
