The first thing that woke Lucien up the next morning at the door, the heavy knocking on the door to be precise. He yawned out, checking his side to meet Stacey still sleeping. His lips curled up in a small smile before standing up and approaching the door. He opened it to see a guard standing in front of it, his head lowered to the ground.

“Your highness, we’re under attack presently.”

All the sleep and drowsiness in his eyes disappeared immediately, slamming the door close as he saved the guard,

“We’re under attack. Some people from some packs are here, and they’re demanding to see you. Without you, they won’t leave.” He added.
