Stacey sat down on the table to have breakfast, savoring each bite as she took it. Her mind was free of worries, it was as if she was now living in a new world, a world that was hers and hers alone. The door opened as she looked up to meet Ronan walking in. Her hand halted in mid air as he stopped in his tracks too. For days now they’ve not seen each other, or talked to each other.

She lowered her gaze back to her food and continued eating but her heart was now beating rapidly against her chest. He sat down opposite her, eating in silence as the maids started to serve him.
