The news of Janiya arriving into the pack was the first thing that woke Ronan up the next morning. He flung on his cloth, rushing out of the room and into the dungeon. He was surprised to see her cell empty, the same cell he had ordered the head guard to put her back in the other day. He made his way to the visitor’s room only to see her seated there, her legs crossed and her face full with makeup.

“Niya…” he called out as he entered, his brows creased.

Something about her was different. The first gaze they held showed everything. In her eyes was fear, regret and alos determination. Ronan approached her and took the seat opposite her, staring straight to her face.
