Betrayal

The ride to the pack Bernard was talking about was smooth, so smooth that Eric started thanking his stars that for the first time he didn’t listen to his mother. They got there before sunrise the next morning, the alpha already expecting them and settling them down.

Some of the maids went to sleep immediately and the guards to rest. Eric’s mother did not wake up at all through the pack, almost giving him a heart scare.
