Chapter 12 Blessing from Heaven

Celestine rose from the bench, she walked to approach the shadow of a woman wrapped in her hoodie mantle.

She turned around to Celestine after closing the door of the stable. Ersa had put Storm into the stable.

They both then walked into the castle. Under the candle light and a torch hang over the wall, the two of them took a seat and was ready to have a dinner in the dining room.

It was a very plain dinner for any noble family members. There were two pieces of bread, two bowls of leftover soup.

“I do apologize that all of we’ve got for your dinner.” A woman came out from the kitchen and served them the dishes.

Celestine beamed at her. “How about you? How about the soldiers and the families who living in this castle? Have they got their own dinner?” She looked at the dishes and sucked the air into her lungs as she felt grateful, something she learned from the time, changed her spoiled attitude towards different perspective in looking at life she spent so far.
