Unwilling to back down now, Linda made one last attempt to persuade Julian by crying, "Master Julian, I've been wronged! It was Young Mrs. Hayes who extorted $200 from me!"

"Is that so?" Julian asked emotionlessly, turning to the other servants.

Celia tensed up, clenching her fists. These servants were all in cahoots with Linda.

The maids' faces instantly blanched, leaving them pale and frozen like statues.

The man's gaze was sharp enough that it felt as if it could pierce through any lie. Under its intensity, the maids felt immense pressure bearing down on them.

Buckling under the pressure, one of the maids shook their head vigorously. "No! It's nothing like that! It was Linda who led us to isolate and bully Young Mrs. Hayes!"

"Yes! Young Mrs. Hayes has suffered a lot!"

"It's all Linda's fault!"
