Three weeks went by in the blink of an eye and within those days, Raina was grateful that Jude didn't show up to give them problems. There was enough food to eat and things they needed were provided except the purchase of a phone.

Jude had exempted that request by instructing the guards.

One time, Raina purposely frustrated them by sending the errand guards to buy many local food ingredients and other provisions which she thought would take a long time, enough for her to escape with her children, but she was caught by the more guards Jude had sent over to tighten the security of the house after the incident with the two guards weeks ago.

After three attempts of escaping and failing, Raina gave up and decided to live as a hostage without anything fun, not even a phone to surf the internet. Just she and her children, laughing at silly jokes, watching cartoons, and praying day and night for their freedom.
