The powerful Stormclaw pack's twin daughters, Daisy and Dahlia, were very different. Dahlia is the pack's favorite future Luna, and Daisy, the pale Omega who is "useless," is haunted by strange dreams and a mysterious silver-eyed man who warns her of a hidden power within. Daisy's instincts save lives during an unsuccessful pack hunt, raising suspicion and curiosity among the pack. A prophecy of twin wolves, one to save and the other to destroy, casts doubt on Daisy's loyalty and identity as tensions mount. Dahlia's envy grows to betrayal, blaming Daisy for bringing trouble in a sensational show of dominance to secure her future as Luna. Daisy accepts her Omega identity after being forced to confront her destiny and learns that her true strength is unity and resilience. In the end, Daisy's journey demonstrates that strength is courage to embrace one's own path rather than rank. The Useless Omega's Awakening is a story about self-discovery, family ties, and the indomitable strength within.

Chapter 1

The Forgotten Twin

Daisy POV

I stood at a corner in the training arena, trying to fit as my pack trained. They moved like a well-oiled strong machine, fast, perfect. Especially her. My sister, Dahlia. She led them with an ease that made it seem like she was born to rule. Every punch, every block, every move was flawless. The pack admired her, worshiped her even.

And then there was me. The forgotten one. Daisy, the Omega.

I didn’t belong here, not really. I wasn’t built for this life of strength and glory. But I had to come, forced by duty to watch them train. I hated it. Their laughter cut through me like knives, their voices filled with joy and pride that I couldn’t share. Dahlia, the golden one, was always in the center, a shining light. Me? I was nothing. A shadow.

“Daisy, why aren't you joining the training?"

The sound of my father's voice made me wince. I could tell he was the one without even turning around. Every time he spoke to me, he had the same expression, as if he could not bear to see me.

I stared at the floor and murmured, "I'm just... watching." My lips tasted harsh from the words.

He yelled, "If all you do is stand there like a ghost, you're not much use to the pack." "Even an Omega must do her share."

I nodded despite my constricted throat after swallowing forcefully. "I understand."

"Then do it." He spoke in an icy tone. I stood there with my heart racing and my guilt burning as he turned and left.

I was unable to perform anything correctly. Never had. Never would.

Dahlia was sparring with the others across the field, and I could see her moving with her honey-blonde hair flying. She was stunning, self-assured, and powerful. She was loved by all. She fit in. And I was nothing beside her. Not in the same world, even.

"Why did you even bothering to come?"

I was surprised by the voice, but I knew it was Rowan without having to look. One of Dahlia's closest friends, one of her most devoted fans, and one of my worst harassers. I felt sick to my stomach at his arrogant tone.

"I…. "

He sneered and moved closer so I could feel the intensity of his loathing, saying, "Daisy, you're not like us." "Weak. Horrible. useless.

As usual, the words were painful, but I said nothing. There was no point in disputing. There was nothing I could say that would alter their opinion of me.

Rowan laughed, pleased that I didn't answer. He mumbled, "Figures," and turned to leave me by myself in the icy shadow of Dahlia's creativity.

A shadow. Always.

I noticed Dahlia approaching just as I was ready to leave. Despite the rigorous training, she naturally appeared flawless and in fantastic condition. Her eyes were sharp and constantly calculating, yet her expression was neutral.

With a flat, uncaring tone, she questioned, "Daisy, what are you doing here?"

I muttered, "Father said I should come watch," as I felt the weight of her eyes.

“Watch?" She raised an eyebrow in repetition. "You ought to be working out."

I tried to speak steadily as I said, "I wasn't invited."

Dahlia sighed as if I were the greatest annoying person in the world. "Daisy, you can be of assistance without an invitation. However, don't just stand by if you're not going to take part. Go assist Mother in getting ready for tonight's hunt.

I nodded, though my throat constricted. "All right. I'll go.

I felt her eyes pierce my back as I turned and left without saying another word. Their laughing reverberated all around me as I traversed the field, but I kept my head down. They ensured that I knew I had no place here.

The aroma of fresh meat and herbs greeted me as soon as I walked through the entrance of my house. As she got ready for the hunt that night, my mother was already in the kitchen, working swiftly. When I walked in, she didn't even look up.

She whispered, "About time you showed up." "I don't have to wait for you all day."

Unsure of what to say, I stood there for a while. But what would I even say? Instead, I just asked, “What do you need me to do?”

“Chop those vegetables,” she snapped, pointing at a pile on the counter. “And try not to mess it up.”

Her words stung, but I moved to the counter and picked up the knife, my hands shaking slightly. With all neither of us would say, there was a heavy silence between us. Since the day I was born, she had changed the way she looked at me. because I nearly killed her when i was born.

In an attempt to concentrate, I began chopping. Even though it was easy, I was unable to stop the thoughts from racing through my mind. Her disappointed and resentful gaze was on me, and I could feel it.

The silence was suddenly broken when she said, "You should try harder." "You believe that your status as an Omega allows you to be worthless?"

My heart sank into my gut as I started chopping again after my hands briefly froze. "No," I muttered. "I'm not”.

“Then pretend to be that,” she said harshly. "You have given nothing in return, and we have given you everything."

My hand slid as her words struck me like a slap. I gasped and swiftly withdrew my hand as the knife slashed into my finger. As blood gathered, I reached for a piece of fabric and wrapped it around the wound.

"Daisy."

The sound of Dahlia's voice made me tense. She appeared to have something significant to say as she stood in the doorway with her arms folded.

"What is it?" I asked, attempting to control my frustration. At the moment, I didn't want to deal with her.

Dahlia remarked, "Something is going on at the borders." "Your father wants you to attend."

Confusedly I blinked. "Me? Why?

She shrugged, like it didn’t matter. "Avoid asking me. Just come.”

The forest at the edge of Silvermoon territory felt darker than usual, the shadows deeper, colder. The air was thick with tension, making every step feel heavy. I followed Dahlia to where our father stood with a group of pack members. Something was definitely wrong.

“What’s going on?” I asked quietly, not expecting much of an answer.

Father turned to me, his face unreadable. “We’ve found something,” he said, his voice low. “Something strange.”

I frowned, my stomach tightening. “What do you mean?”

Before he could respond, something moved in the trees. A shape, a wolf, but not like any wolf I’d ever seen.

In the moonlight, its eyes glowed a deep, strange purple, and its fur shimmered silver. I could see it glaring at me. Unblinking. Like it knew me.

I stepped back, my heart thumping. "What is that, exactly?" My voice was almost heard as I whispered.

With a nervous tone, Dahlia took a step forward. "This is not to my liking."

With its eyes fixed on me, the wolf moved closer. There seemed to be a strange pull pulling at something deep within me as the ground moved beneath me. My heart pounded as terror combined with an inexplicable element.

With its eyes still fixed on me, the wolf let out a low growl. Then it moved in a flurry of glittering light. turning into a man.

Tall, with silver hair that matched the wolf’s fur and those same glowing purple eyes. A slow knowing smile curled his lips as he stood in front of us, looking directly at me.

His voice was d

eep and eerie as he replied, "I've been waiting for you.”.His eyes gleamed with a strange intensity. “Daisy.”

A Pack Divided
It was hard to breathe because the air was so tight. I stood near the clearing's edge and observed the wolves arguing, whispering, and making uneasy glances at one another. Everyone felt that something had changed since last night.I really wasn't supposed to be here. Although I had nowhere else to go, Omegas are typically kept out of pack matters like this. I was still haunted by the strange silver wolf, the man. I kept recalling his words in my head"I've been waiting for you, Daisy," He said. What was that implying? Who was he? Why also me?Dahlia was standing with her usual crowd of admirers across the clearing, and I saw her calm and collected expression. She didn't seem bothered by the group's growing anxiety. No, she made the most of it. She was aware that the chaos might provide her with the chance to take charge that she had been waiting for.As he spoke to the wolves that had gathered, my father, Beta of the pack, stood next to the Alpha with a grim expression on his face. Dahlia's Destiny
I stood frozen as the call sent chills down my spine. As I looked around the pitch-black forest, my breath came quickly and shallowly. Nobody was present, merely shadows and swaying trees in the wind.“Somethings must be coming for me”.I was still gripped by fear. Even though the silver wolf was real, the voice and the whisper of my name were too close and too eerie.I stepped back and looked over my shoulder. The sensation that I was being watched persisted. It was oppressive, like if something invisible was waiting in the dark. I had to return to the group.I turned, heading towards the clearing, but the moment I stepped out of the trees, I spotted her, Dahlia, standing alone near the training grounds. Her posture was rigid, her arms crossed as if she was lost in thought. There was something different about her. The usual smugness in her expression was gone, replaced by something I couldn’t quite explain. With fear, I made my way toward her. Dahlia?” I made a soft call.At first, s

Dreams Of Wolves
My head was spinning. One moment, I was in the clearing, facing that strange man, his wolves, and Dahlia’s fierce stare. Then, darkness swallowed me entirely.I blinked, disoriented. I wasn’t even sure I was awake. Shadows are all around me, shifting, pulling at my senses. I could hear the faint sound of water dripping, and silence was heavy, as if I were deep underground.Where am I?The earth seemed almost like moss underfoot as I tentatively stepped forward. As I attempted to make sense of what was happening, My chest swelled. I didn't think I had previously been here..A howl echoed through the dark, sharp and close, sending a shiver down my spine. Then I saw wolves emerging with glowing eyes. Their fur shone under a light I couldn’t see. They surrounded me, watching and waiting.“What do you want?” I whispered, my voice barely audible. The largest wolf, with its sleek silver coat and deep, unsettling blue eyes, stepped forward and silently snarled with its teeth. As the other wol

The Incident At The Hunt.
Days after my encounter, was the Annual hunt, a tradition that made everyone more competitive, was finally here. Eyes shining with anticipation, the wolves lined up close to the forest's edge.It wasn't only the adventure of the chase that made me panic. I still had nightmares about the silver-eyed man, his wolves, and the feeling of having to make a decision soon. However, I was unable to think about any of that today. I had to focus on proving myself today.Daisy, hey! I was brought out of my thoughts by Rowan's voice. His eyes were sparkling, and he was smiling. Are you joining the search? In an effort to convey confidence, I nodded. Of course!Rowan looked skeptical as he raised an eyebrow. Okay, then. Take care not to fall behind. Before changing into his sleek dark brown wolf form, he let out a brief chuckle.I looked around and took a deep breath. Dahlia stood in front, next to Markus, the Alpha’s son and our father. Her honey-blonde fur sparkled in the early morning sun, givin

Whispers Of The Elders.
Before I got back to the pack, she had reported the incident and the entire pack had been gathered. As I entered the elders' hall, the heaviness of the air pressed against me. Wolf murmurs were heard in the room's corner, and as they noticed me, their eyes were cold and suspicious.Dahlia stood close to father, unbending and quiet. Despite the fact that it was impossible to read her expression, our tension was stronger than ever.My father turned to look at me. Daisy," he said with a sharp tone that lacked the usual warmth. Be there for the family. As I moved forward, I swallowed the feeling of eyes staring at my back as I clenched my fists. The elders sat in a half-circle, their faces imprinted with years of experience and judgment. Grandmother Selene, the leading elder, narrowed her eyes as she observed me.Her voice was gravelly but steady as she began, "I heard there was... an incident during the hunt." Did it attack from outside our borders?Trying to keep my voice from shaking,

Unwanted Power.
The next day, I woke up with an odd sensation of something crawling beneath my skin. A dull ache pulsed behind my eyes, my fingertips almost felt like they were buzzing. The strange dreams I had last night, the flashes of eyes in the shadows, the warnings that seemed to get louder, the longer I ignored them, they were too much for me to shake off. However, I did not have time to consider that. The opportunity to demonstrate that I was not a threat to the pack was today, my so-called test. I was haunted by Grandmother Selene's last-night voice and her thoughts about "unseen forces." To get rid of the doubts that were trying to sneak in, I clenched my jaw. I will exhibit leadership to them if they desired one. When I got there, the forest was alive with activity. Warriors were preparing for the hunt, checking their weapons, and getting ready. As I moved forward, they all looked at me with a mix of suspicion and curiosity. I kept my head up and didn't let their stares bother me.Dahlia w

The Unseen Threat.
As if the forest itself was aware that something was wrong, the wind was thick with the heavy and damp scent of rain. As I led the group back toward the village, the weight of their stares pressing against my back made my skin itch. Even though I was surrounded, I felt exposed.I could still hear Grandmother Selene's warning from the clearing as direction or something "drastic." She had looked at me like I was both a mystery and a weapon that she couldn't leave unattended, and I couldn't shake that impression. After what had transpired, I could feel the suspicion like a knife at my throat, and the pack was already nervous.Lucas sped up to catch up to me with tense expression. Daisy, how are you doing? As if he could find an answer in my expression, his eyes scanned my face.I admitted, looking down at my hands, "I don't know." It still felt so fresh to recall what had happened and it's beyond my understanding. He brushed his hair with his hand while looking over his shoulder at the o

A Prophecy Misread.
As I stared at the ground-glowing symbols, my heart beat raced in my ears. Like they were alive, the strange, twisted lines flashed a faint pulsating light. I was surrounded by the pack, some of them frozen in fear, some murmurings, Grandmother's words floated in the air.She had stated, "The ancient ones... they're coming."Who were they, though? And what do they have in mind for us?Grandmother Selene moved forward, her fingers hovering above the symbols as if she could sense their energy. Her lips were straight and pale on her face. The wind picked up, and whipped around us, it had a metallic tinge of terror and confusion."What... what does it mean?" I asked in a low voice.Because she was focused on the symbols, she did not respond immediately. She said to herself, "This is not what I thought," as she murmured.Lucas stood by my side with a clenched jaw. Now would be a good time to inform us if you know what this is.Grandmother gave a straining glance upward. This... is ancient

Distant Eyes.
My entire world spun around. I was unable to breathe as the stranger's dark energy engulfed my body and soaked into my bones. Even though I had no idea what it was, I felt his power tugging at something deep within me that I knew was dangerous.“Daisy!” The distant sound of Lucas's voice sounded like he was shouting through the water. My body refused to respond when I attempted to reach for him. The stranger fixed his cold eyes on mine, as if he could see right through me."Don't fight it, Omega." It hurts more the more you resist, his voice echoed in my head.I thought I was going to pass out for a moment because my vision was blurry. But then I saw something with tiny and far-off eyes following from the forest. I had never seen anything like that before. The stranger also noticed. I could feel his panic rising as he tightened his grip on me. Tonight, he wasn't alone in the forest, and no one else here was friendly."What… what is that?"
