Heather POV Dawn and I had thought that we were going to be given a room that we could share, but as we were walking into the packhouse, April had suggested that we all just head to her room and have a serious girl talk about tonight. Megan said that she was going to head to the Gamma quarters first and have a shower. The way this pack house was laid out was interesting. The main building had your normal stuff, kitchen, dining, entertainment, offices etc on the main floor. Then the next two floors had rooms for unmated wolves. There was a large covered breezeway that you could access from the main entrance hall and kitchen. On the other side of the breezeway there is another building that houses another kitchen, conference room/dining room, and another entertainment room on the first floor. Heather POV “Hey come on get up.” I felt someone shaking me. “It’s 6:00am. If we move quickly enough we can get the guys.” I sit up and rub my eyes and tried to focus on the person in front of me. It’s Megan. “Here, hurry, get dressed. April and I will explain on the way.” In less than ten minutes, we are all dressed, have hit the bathroom, brushed our teeth, brushed our hair and are heading down the stairs. April and Megan explain that the last time they were late for training after a girls’ night, Reed, Lucas, Quinn and Levi had attacked them with water guns while they were still sleeping. Their revenge plan is to make sure they follow us out of the covered breezeway in a certain direction where Megan will be waiting with the hose. Discussion in the Office Luna Rene - “Ok. First off, Luna Rene, let me introduce to you our Beta female, Sage Shaw, also my sister-in-law, and April and Quinn’s Mother. Then this is our Gamma female, Kelly MacCrimmon, Megan and Levi’s Mother. Heather POV At that moment, Janice walks back in with four of the younger kitchen staff and a little girl who looks to be about eight to ten years old. If you have ever seen a picture of the child actress Shirley Temple, you would think you were looking at her twin. I’m not sure what colour hair Shirley Temple had but this one has dark mahogany colour with beautiful ringlets and light mossy green eyes. Her parents are going to have a hell of a time keeping the boys away from her as she gets older. “You were right,” Janice said as she walked up to Meg. “Your father took the clothes I had, he said they would take them since I was probably busy with food prep. Levi POV Oh Goddess, what did I do? I didn’t know she was there with them. I know that if Reed had known she was here he wouldn’t have talked about punishments. Heather POV We were out front saying good-bye to Dawn, Zane and Jacob, when Jacob grabbed my hand. “Can I talk to you over around the side of the building for a minute?” He linked me. I followed him around the corner. As soon as we are out of eyesight of the others, he wraps one arm around my waist, slides the fingers of his other hand through my hair and cups the back of my head. “Can I get one more kiss before I leave? I need something to hold me over for the next two weeks. Maybe we can get a little more alone time when we’re back for Quinn's party.” I reach my hands up to link them around Jacobs neck and stand on my tip toes. Damn, I hate being short.
