Chapter 218

Heather POV

I’m in that forest again, at least I think it’s the same one. Things are still blurry and muffled. This time, instead of a cave, I can hear yelling, and it sounds as if someone is running. The sound of branches snapping right behind me had me whipping around to see who it was. I can’t make out any figures, but I can tell that it is a woman. I watch as she bends down, grabs a handful of animal droppings and starts to rub it on her clothes. The only thing I can think that she is doing is trying to disguise her scent. She must be trying to hide from the people who are yelling. I really need to learn how to control these visions. Ahhh if I could only see her clearer or understand what the others were talking about, maybe this would be useful. As it is now, it’s just frustrating. Things started to fade out. NOOO. I need to figure out what is going on. ‘Indigo.’ Great she’s not answering. Where the hell is she when I need her? I watch in frustration as everything fades away. I
