Chapter 198

Lucas POV

We noticed that Heather had fallen asleep while we cleaned, so we did the prep work for supper. We could hear her chuckle in her sleep every once in a while. She looked so cute. Reed had covered her up with a throw that was there. “I don’t want to wake her, but I want to know what she thinks of the gifts we got her,” I whispered to Reed. The two of us were standing at the end of the couch just staring at her like a couple of creeps, but we couldn’t help it, she was just so beautiful. I didn’t know what she was dreaming about, but you could see the emotions playing across her face. Happy, sad, mad and just out-and-out pissed. I did notice that when she got pissed there seemed to be what I can only describe as electricity in the air. You know that feeling during a thunderstorm.
