Reed POV

I had been a little upset to find out that Heather wasn’t coming home for Christmas. I looked at the box I had put under the tree. I had hoped to give it to her in person. It looks like Nolan will be taking it back to her. I understand why she didn’t come home. Lucas and I had been so swamped with catch-up work when we’d finally gotten to school that I didn’t want to imagine what Heather was dealing with. I will admit that I think about Heather a lot.
