Heather POVThe next time I woke up I was in bed by myself. I was lying on my side. The blankets were pulled right up to my chin surrounding me in the scents of cool crisp fresh mint, Reed and smooth rich creamy hot chocolate, Lucas, but there seemed to be another scent attached to them that I couldn’t identify. Lucas POV We entered Dad's office and had just sat down when we felt Heather's emotional dam break. If I hadn't already been seated I would have dropped to the ground as the wave of sorrow hit me.
