Mia’s POV

All I could see was black. I felt like I was drowning in myself. it tried shouting for help. I tried moving my arms. My body was failing. My mind shutting down.

My brain couldn't process the stream of information. All that Azek said was a heavy load in my mind now.

Nevertheless, I needed to know the truth behind my past but maybe I need space between each piece of information.

I felt a series of gentle squeeze. Someone was holding my hand and crying by my side.

“don't go Mia”

“We love you”

“We need you”

The voice echoed in cries beckoning me to wake up.

It was Azek crying by my side. He blamed himself for all the trauma I had been through.

I could finally move my hand. I squeezed his hand with the little strength I could gather. I felt as weak as a leaf.

“it's not your fault” I said but the words didn't come out completely or audible enough.

I tried opening my eyes, they were too heavy for me to open.
