106. What if I would lose her?

Michael's pov -

I take out my phone and dial the police, explaining the situation as quietly as possible. They assure me that they're on their way, but I know I can't wait for them to arrive. Abigail's life is in danger, and I won't let her down.

I sneak around the building, searching for a way to get inside. Finally, I find an unlocked door, and I slip in silently. My heart pounds in my ears as I navigate the dark corridors, trying to avoid any attention.

As I make my way through the building, I hear voices coming from a room ahead. I cautiously approach, my heart in my throat. Peering inside, I see Abigail, still bound and gagged, her eyes filled with fear.

I want to rush to her, to hold her in my arms and tell her that everything will be okay. But I know I need to be careful. I need to take out the men guarding her first.
