2022-03-04 03:30:58I wake up on the floor of the office, Micheal, Paula, and Ri'elle are all on the ground, passed out as well. Annie is not here, based on the way her scent has faded... she has been gone for a few hours at least.
"Micheal? Paula?" I call out to them first, because I see Ri'elle moving already. I crawl over to Micheal first, as he is the closest. "Crap, Ri'elle... we need help, Micheal is bleeding." I call over. Ri'elle stands up on unsteady feet, using the wall to help, he walks out of the room to find a nurse or someone to help.
Micheal is bleeding from a small cut on his forehead. Paula doesn't appear to be hurt, but she still hasn't woken up. Ri'elle returns in a few moments with a nurse, she seems unsteady on her feet as well.
"Was everyone effected?" I ask her.
"No, not everyone, it seems to have been just those of us in the hospital. The rest of the pack is not aware of anything happening." She tells me.

I wake up in a crowded hospital room, I am awake, but unable to move on my own, or open my eyes. Ansel is there, he walks over to my bedside, taking my hand, my mind and Mal's are at odds. His touch calms her, but it sends me into a fit, shaking and screaming. Ansel walks away, I feel him move further away. He speaks, but the only word I hear is Micheal's name. I leave the hospital, making my way across the square to my father's office. I have spent my first few days as the Alpha in the hospital, the pack knows that I am the alpha now, because they could feel the power shift when I made the challenge. But I have not had a chance to address the change with them. I want to make sure that every member of my pack knows that I am here for them, it is my job to protect them, but more than that it is my job listen when they need me. My father has kept his office very clean and organized, the files are in order, but I have a feeling that he has been letting a lot of things slide... We take to the tree's just outside of the town square. Micheal is to my left, Paula to my right. Paula's Amore decided to stay with Ri'elle, so we would be able communicate to Ri'elle through their Amore mind link. We climb as high up the tree's as we dare, trusting the lower branches to hide us. I take out my blow dart gun, and I start shooting wolves with wolvesbane. Micheal and Paula are doing the same, using stealth we dart around the tree's taking out as many enemies as we can from this position. I know there are witches and vampires near by, I can smell them, but I can not see them from here. The enemy is all around us, Micheal, Paula, and myself are good fighters, we have been trained our whole lives to fight as a one man army. The warriors in my pack know that help may never come, we need to be able to fight in any conditions, and against any odds.Ansel's pack is not weak, but only the warriors are trained to fight, none of the mothers know how to protect their children. Me, Micheal, and Paula can each hold our own, but our focus at the moment is not our own lives. We must protect the pack, as their queen they refuse to leave me to fight alone, these warriors are loyal to me already, but since they do not know how to fight as well as we do, I feel the need to protect them, just as they feel the need to defend me.Every time I am fighting more than one rogue at a time I end up surrounded by at least three of my own warriors, I know they only want to help me, but it is rather frustrating. I drop down from the tree's to rejoin my men on the ground, "Don't trust your eyes." I order, adding "The fog is too thick, focus on your other sense's" I can hear them moving better than I can smell them, I close my eyes and focus on my hearing. Letting my ears guide me, I use my nose to eliminate noise's as friends when I recognize their scent. I kill one vampire after the other, trying to work my way to the King, I want his head, again. I don't understand how they could have come back to life when we burned his body... he is still wearing a pure white suit. The darker side of me wants to see that suit covered in his own blood. The more... diplomatic side of me wants to see him locked in a cage so we can grill him for information on how he was able to reform and come back to life after being burned like that. The further I travel into the fog the more vampire's attack me at once, I go from fighting two or three at a time to fighting 6 or 7

Hearing Annie talking like we will all be dead by morning is breaking my heart. Luckly most the men did not hear her ordering Micheal to leave the battle field. Many in the pack are against the idea of a pack member adopting a child who is not a werewolf. They do not say so directly to me, but I can feel the stare's as I walk around with Nicky trailing behind me. I think that if I was anyone else besides the queen they would be much more vocal about their disapproval, or maybe it is because they can sense that Nicky is not human, so they figure he will not pose as much of a threat to the pack that a normal human would. I quickly untie the ropes from my legs, but I stay where I am on the ground, knowing my legs will be to shaky to hold me up. My Ansel suddenly apears, jumping over the limo, taking the vampire king down to the ground in one move. Then he takes the kings head off in one bite. Over the next two days the whole pack pulls together to help the towns around us. We work our way down the street from the pack castle into the town, once we reach the edge of town each house that we pass we check for people in need of help. There was a lot of flooding in this area so we make is a point to check every house for the injured or trapped people. Most people evacuated the area before the storm hit, so many of the houses are empty, but we search them all anyways. This storm was predected to be more on the mild side, so people expected to be gone from their homes for only a few days, because the roads are not passable people can not return. We find some pets in houses alone, when we find a pet in an empty house we leave a note with a phone number and we take the pet back to the castle to be fed and taken care of until their families return. True love's first kill 100: Annie's POV
It takes the whole pack working together for three days to get the whole castle and grounds cleaned up. Thanks to the warriors and other pack members who boarded them up, most of the windows are fine. But a lot of trees came down, and a few of them landed on some of the buildings on the grounds. The larger brick buildings are largely okay, a couple of them need new roofs put in. It is the smaller wooden buildings that took the most damage, a couple of them will need to be completely demolished, and a few others will need some major renovations to be usable again. I spend my days cutting the fallen trees into logs, so they can be moved out of the way of the rest of the clean up efforts. Once that is done I split the logs into fire wood. My back and shoulders are killing me after a two whole days of splitting and stacking logs. I know that I already agreed to help Ri'elle with his spell, and I will, but the thing is... After the regular spell work part of it...Ri'elle says in order to seal the magic I need to kiss Ansel. I have never done a spell that requires love kiss in order to seal the magic, but he says that this spell needs it. I know he would not lie to me, and I will do the magic he needs me to, the thing is that I think this spell maybe too advanced for me. I wish that Ri'elle was well enough to work the spell himself. "Micheal, thank you for meeting me here. I didn't want to leave her alone while she is still asleep...Something strange happened last night, and it wasn't the first time... I follow Micheal as he takes me on a tour of the worst of the wounded. There are only a few people who got hurt badly enough to need to see a doctor, a few warriors where on the stairs when they passed out and as a result they fell down the stairs. One older man fell onto his tool box giving himself a concusion, and a few other fell in similar way. There is a total of 8 broken bone's and 3 concusions. Plus the 5 mothers who went into labor as a result of the stress from passing out the way they did. There was a total of 544 pack memebers effected by the spell, and only 18 people where hurt or effected badly enough to need to seek medical attention right away. The other 526 people have been givin the order to report to the hospital wing within the next 2 days, refusal to do so will result in punishment. I rush to the west tower, I have a bad feeling that something went wrong on Ri'elle's end. I race up the stairs and burst into the room, I find Ri'elle in the center of the room, spiritual energy fills the room, he is covered in his own blood, it looks as though the spirits are trying to rip him apart limb from limb. I know that if I siply rush to him the connection will be broken and his spell will backfire onto him completely. Right now I am thinking that maybe the spirits simply do not like the offering that he used. I skirt around the edges of the room, being carefull not to touch any of the silks.
