49: Ansel's POV

I walk my mother up to her room before I head over to meet up with Annie. I wanted to make sure that she got their safe, because she seems rather unstable on her feet. 

As I make my way over to the hospital I pass pack members gathering here and there, it seem that the whole pack is disoriented, I am unsure if this means the spell is broken, or if something else is happening. 

I walk into the waiting room, Paula is sitting there waiting for me, she jumps to her feet as soon as I walk in.

"Hey Ansel, they are this way. Matteo just went into the room, he was rather upset at being made to wait and I think offended that he was asked to meet like this in the first place." Paula tells me. 

"Right, I am sure he resents not being the one in charge, coming from the council he must be used to being the top dog." I say with a smirk, I am going to enjoy bringing him down a peg.
