Disturbing Surprise

#Dasha's POV

"Wow, you are so beautiful Miss Dasha, all the guests will definitely praise your appearance tonight," said a make-up artist.

I twirled my body in front of the mirror, "Thank you, this is also thanks to the magic of your hands Sandra. Do you think it's not too flashy if I wear this red dress?" I asked Sandra.

"Believe me, you really look so gorgeous."

I smile back and thank Sandra for her compliment for the second time, it's enough to make me confident.

Tonight is the celebration of my coming of age. Of course, I have to look my best because all eyes will be on me, especially since the Blue Moon Pack is known to be quite dominant in the Alliance.

I was in the middle of checking my appearance to make sure everything was perfect. Suddenly I heard a knock on my bedroom door and my mother's voice calling me.

"Dasha, dear. The main event starts in fifteen minutes, can you come down immediately?" said my mother who was standing in the doorway.

I turned to her, "Yes, mom. I'll go there with you."

I approached my mother and we went downstairs together. The party was in our backyard, using an outdoor night as a theme.

I looked up at the sky and it was so beautiful that the moon was up there as if it was participating in decorating my party tonight.

"My heart bearing faster mom, is that normal?" I asked my mother as I walked slowly.

My mother just chuckled, "You're just nervous, dear, calm down, okay. You look so beautiful tonight," she said, trying to calm me down.

Sure enough, I walked into the courtyard that full with party decorations. Everyone who had been focus on the party, suddenly distracted by my appearance.

I could see their admiring glances. They're quite impressed by my dashing look that make me feel like the main character. Then my mother led me to the front of them where I would perform the main event, which is blowing out the candles and cutting the cake.

"Thank you all for coming to the coming-of-age ceremonial party for Dasha, our lovely daughter. Hopefully this will make her a more mature and wise person as we prepare her to be the next Luna," my father said to all the guests.

The guests were the Alphas and Luna and her cubs who were members of the Golden Wolf Alliance.

After my father's speech. I bowed respectfully and smiled at the guests as a thank you, then I heard the thunderous applause.

When It's finally stopped, one of the guests spoke, "Your daughter is really gergous, Alpha Felix. Her appereance tonight was outstanding. Are you serious about to make her Luna? Did you already found an Alpha match for her?" one of the guest as my father jokingly.

My father chuckled, "Thank you, Alpha William. Of course, we already arranged a marriage agreement for her, but it still a secret surprise for you all."

Everyone nodded and laughed in response of my father playful answer. I saw that Alpha William was indeed good at breaking the ice, and his joke was enough to make me not nervous again.

After blowing out the candles and cutting the cake, the next thing to do to make some wishes and prayers to the Moon Goddesses.

I then proceed to pray for my family remain harmonious and keep loving each other, for my pack to grows stronger, and that it be beneficial to the Alliance. I also added one last important wish regarding the arranged marriage I was about to commited into. Hopefully, I can love Alpha Edmon, who my parents always talk about, and one day I will become the best Luna, like my parents wish me to be.

While I was praying seriously. Suddenly, I heard a small noise from two guards who guarding my party.

I tried to found out what from where I was standing and saw a girl who seems arguing with those guards. She then burst into the party, looking out of breath. That girl, who looked about my age, walked towards. With an angry look on her face, and those two guards tried to catch up with her and reprimanded her.

My parents told them to let her in. I wonder if she had an important thing to say since she was brave enough to break into my party. The atmosphere became tense as the guests wondered if this was part of the party event. It could have been a prank like in a TV show.

"Alpha Felix, Luna Yelena, I'm sorry to disturb this party. Do you remember this?" the girl said as she pulled out a necklace with a blue wolf-shaped gem.

My mother was immediately shocked and covered her mouth, while my father and I were still stunned and didn't understand.

"Dad, Mom, is this one of your surprise plans for me?" I asked, getting more and more curious.

"I'm just as surprised as you are, Dasha!" said My father.

The girl suddenly smiled at me sarcastically, but she immediately became teary-eyed when she looked at my parents.

"I am your real daughter Alpha Felix, Luna Yelena!"

Immediately, the sound of whispers could be heard among the guests, all of them surprised to hear the girl's sudden and absurd statement.

"Are you kidding me? You suddenly came to ruin my party and claimed to be the real daughter of my parents. I am their child and this is a party to celebrate my coming of age," I scolded her.

"Luna Yelena, if this necklace not enough as a proof, please try to remember something you found on your baby when you gave birth to me. Something that only you know, like a birthmark for example." She try to convince them again.

My mother seems confused. She then began to concentrate to remember about something.

"Wait a minute, Dasha, please show your left elbow. It should be a birthmark there. All this time I never bother to check it," my mother asked me.

"Seriously, Mom. Are you really believe what that strange girl said?" I was a little annoyed with my mother.

"Dasha. Please show me!" My mother said again, ignoring my words.

I obeyed her. Immediately I saw a look of sadness and surprise on my mother's face. She even asked that girl to come over to her.

My mother did the same, checking the stranger's left elbow. She cried and hugged her.

"Luna Yelena, what is it that I don't know?" my father asked, looking panicked.

"She's our real daughter, Felix! The birthmark on her left elbow and the jewel necklace, I remember everything!" my mother explained.

I immediately fell silent, as if I couldn't believe what I had just heard. The guests were even more stunned and looked at the girl with pity.

My father tried to calm everyone down and ask the guests to leave because they won't be able to enjoy the party since it changed into an unpleasant drama.

My party was ended with a bad taste lingering in my mouth. Father asked me, my mother, and the girl to go inside and have a serious conversation.

My steps became heavy as I was the last to enter the house.

"Sorry Alpha, the party is over, maybe you should go back home because the situation no longer suitable for it anymore." said a guard who had been guarding my party.

I tried to turn my head in their direction and from a distance I saw the figure of the man arguing with the guard, but the look on his face was faint I also began to lose my concentration and entered the house as my father had requested earlier.

I only heard the man grumble, "What's the point of this, Beta Taylor? Didn't Alpha Felix invite me tonight, why was the party already over?"
