Chapter 2: A Bullet Of Disaster

I entered the greenish portal door not knowing what's ahead.

As the lights blind me, I blinked. When I open my eyes again, I felt weird...

I looked around and found everything weird! 

This place is weird as we are surrounded by walls of something squishy and red. I don't even wanna know nor touch what that is.

And... and...

"Are those... centipede?" 

I shook my head. It can't be a centipede, it doesn't have legs.

Yes, they don't have legs! I was talking about others! Well, I think it was them as they kept moving and I haven't seen anyone around even though I'm not the first one to enter.

Wait... If that is the other ghosts then...

I looked at myself and I was right. Even if I can't see my whole body, I can't see my legs nor arms anymore.

Now that I looked at it carefully, I look like a tadpole! 

Did we reincarnate as frogs? No way!

This is so eww! I sighed even tho nothing comes out as I don't have a mouth.

I don't know how I can see though, even without eyes. How did I know? Well, all of us look the same so I probably don't have one too.

No face at all. Just a squishy white thingy that looks like a tadpole. That's what we are.

Even if I say something, it will only stay in my mind. 

"Welp, what could get worse?" Hearing myself, I wanna cover my mouth but don't have one nor hands.

This annoying mind and mouth of mine, this could get me in trouble! The last time I said those things... Something worse certainly happened!

Dang it! Don't tell me it will truly make it worse?!

And I was right...

Beep!

At exactly 10 minutes, the portal door was closing even if there are still some who wanted to go in. It waited for no one and just closed it tightly.

Well, it can't be helped if not everyone can decide fast. As there's only one entrance but no exit. No matter how much they tried to break out.

When the portal door was closed, a voice was heard. But it's a different voice this one.

It's a man's voice but with emotions unlike the monotone woman earlier. How I know it was a woman? When it was mimicking some sarcastic or childish voice. It sounds like a woman no matter what and sounds the same.

"Welcome players to the Enchantrix Race! I'm your host, Virus! And... you didn't think you could get your wish easily right?" Said the voice from who knows where... again.

I was right, there's certainly a catch and I bet they are gonna say it now that we can't go back.

"Well, if you want a wish, then prove you are worthy of it! Win this game and you'll receive tons of surprises! All you have to do is finish the line!"

"It doesn't matter if you're first or last, as long as you get to the finish and put your flag at the top, you win!"

Flag? We're not holding a flag though. Are they gonna give us some? And, is this some frog's race? Like from a tadpole to be a frog race?

"Some of you may not know what you are right now but I bet most of you know! You all are semen! Oh wait, I mean sperm cells! Yehey!"

What the f*ck!

This is f*cking worse! I thought we are a tadpole! Well, I don't mind being one but a sperm? Heck no!

This is not an Enchantrix race, it's not even enchanted at all! This is a monster's race!

All men are monsters! And sperm is their bullet of disasters! Hence, it's a monster's race!

However, no matter how much I complained, nobody can hear me.

"Since all of you are sperm, you probably have an idea what this race is about and how long will you last right?"

How long will we last? Wait... Now that he said that, I remember what my sister told me, sperm can lasts longer in a woman's womb for how many days.

Don't tell me this race is about... That? Eww!

Wait, that's not the focus here. How long can sperms survive again?

"Your job is to put a flag, aka seed, in the woman's egg cell! So once the race starts, keep swimming until you reach there!"

I knew it. It's making babies race. Seriously, it's a monster race. Babies are the fruit of monsters. 

"However, sperms can only last for at least three to five days! And the way to the woman's tomb is dangerous! What more to her egg cell right? That is why finishing the race and planting seed is the only thing you have to worry about!"

If I have a face, I probably have a weird one right now. This guy wanted us to create babies. Did they even ask the woman's permission? 

Rude.

"Right now, you are inside the man's... Ahm, elephant, and balls! Once this place moves, keep swimming and go to the direction where a light emerged. That's the entrance and a starting line!"

Say what now? The more he describes this game, the more awkward he sounds. And the more disgusting I felt.

Inhale... exhale... 

I don't have a nose...

Shucks!

"You have to be fast to get out and move, if you stay in here, you'll be disqualified. Well, good luck, and have fun!" And we couldn't hear him anymore.

I wanted to cry but I don't have eyes nor tears. I'm just a squishy something.

That voice didn't even tell us where is the seed we will plant? 

Then, a thought came to me...

Are we the seed?

I shook my head, better not to think anything for now. It only stressed me out.

Argh! Since the game hasn't started yet, I should try how this tadpole-like works. 

I know this is a sperm but saying it so awkward. I look like a tadpole anyway.

I moved my body around and tried to swim. It took me a while to balance myself but it wasn't that hard.

After all, I only have a big circle head and a tail. I learned that my tail is for swimming while my big head is for balancing.

While I practice, I noticed that the place became more crowded. There are more sperms around! So only a few of us are ghosts and others are real sperms? 

After a moment of practice, the place started to move. It feels like a 10.8 magnitude or more, earthquake! However, I don't feel dizzy at all!

This earthquake lasted long. Sometimes the movements are slow and sometimes fast. 

I don't wanna think about it but since I'm not innocent anymore, I know what's happening out there. 

It feels lewd. 

What a pervy thought! No! Stop it, Kiera! You know nothing!

I wonder what kind of position they were doing?

No! Snap out of it! Just think you are in a game where earthquake, landslide, tsunami and so on exists normally! 

Yes! A survival game that will turn into a race! 

I don't know how long did I lie to myself to keep myself sane but the earthquake stops when we got transported out. 

Of course, we swim like hell to get to the other side! However, with this crowd, it was hard.

I became last to enter the starting line instead.

And that wasn't the worse. I almost die as the air touched me as my whole body didn't get to go in, my tail was stuck outside!

Tsk! This woman probably closed the door! 

Then when the woman's hole opens again, I swim as fast as I could inside even with a scratched tail!

Oh, poor tail. Now I look like I have a tattoo!

"Hey V, you've been staring at one player ever since she enters. Do you like that girl? Don't forget we are a system." Virus poked V.

V rolled his eyes, "Stupid, watch the clips and you'll see how funny what she's been thinking."

Virus stared at him then watched the clips on his screen. A moment later on he laughs, "Pft, hahaha! No wonder you've been watching her! I wouldn't be bored watching her like this! Hahaha! A bullet of disaster!"

V shook his and switch his screen. Virus tilted his head, "You're not gonna watch her anymore? Did she die?"

"Almost, by air. However, that's not the reason why. The game started, I have to focus on our mission."

"Aww, she's so entertaining. Bummer. Well, I guess I have to go back to work too. I hope she wins or at least chosen by Enchantress."

"Hm, hope so."
