God sent

The next day, Aurora woke up to a bouquet on her window. She creased her brows and dragged her feet to the window, cleaning her sleepy eyes with her finger.

She reached for the flowers and carried them. She sniffed it in and let out a deep breath. It smelled fresh and lovely.

In the flowers was a card. She picked up the card and opened it. It read;

“Good morning, beautiful. I hope the bright sunshine brightens up your mood today. I’ve prepared breakfast for you. You’ll see me at the right as soon as you step out of your door. Alec.”

With a faint smile, she peeped out of the window and saw a large table and two chairs on the sand. The table was filled with different dishes, and the sight of them alone made her stomach grumble.

She walked back to the bed and placed the flowers on the bed. She picked up her phone and turned it on for the first time since she had switched it off.
