Chapter 139

Cassandra's POV

I walked out of my house with a sigh and headed towards the library where I was going to be meeting with Jason. We weren't going anywhere this time but were just going to stay in the library and read. It was nothing special but I felt really excited about it.

His car was at the front of the library so I walked to check if he was inside. I was trying to look through the window glass in the dark when it suddenly flew down startling me.

"Oh my goodness!" I exclaimed and I heard his laughter as I stumbled in shock.

By the time I recovered myself, he had closed the windows and come out of the car so was walking towards me.

"Why were you so surprised? Did you expect that I wouldn't be here?" He asked me.

"Yeah, somehow I felt that you will be inside already," I admitted and he chuckled.

"Why would I go inside when my reading partner is yet to arrive?" He held my hands and I blushed. "Can we go in now?"
