Chapter 125

Jason's POV

After that day in which I made the wrongest move possible with Cassandra, I planned that I was going to refrain from seeing her for a short period of time. That was so that I could really try to get all forms of silly thoughts out of my head but there was only one thing I failed to consider.

That oversight was the fact that the next day was a friday which meant that I would have to plan to meet up with the children for the weekend that very day, regardless of the weird situation that had just occurred.

'Oh gosh, Jason, why did you have to do that?' I groaned as I picked up my phone for the umpteenth time that evening even though I was already beginning to contemplate dropping it once again.

"Time to make the call, Jason, it's not like you to ever have cold feet. Be yourself already and stop acting weird," I gave myself a pep talk and finally dialled Cassandra's number.

I almost hung up several times as it rang and barely managed to restrain myself but, she didn't pick up.
