Cassandra's POVI walked out of the kitchen, drying my hands as I rushed to answer the door. The doorbell rang again as I walked towards the door and I rolled my eyes exasperatedly then flung the door open."Yes?" I prompted as I opened the door only to realize who was behind the door.Ana.How was she at my doorstep? Did the security guard really just assume that I would want to see her even though I had him throw her out last time? Wasn't it so stupid? What was even more stupid was the fact that Ana was presently smiling at me as if we were good old friends. What more did she want from me for her to be visiting again."Hey Cassandra," she spoke up when I just stared at her without doing or saying anything."What do you want?" I spat out, not wanting to waste my time over someone like her."Why are you being so rude?" She complained with a fake frown and I flung the door shut right at that moment."Who was at the door?" Liam's voice spoke up behind me as I walked back to the kitchen.
Jason's POV"So that is the end of the story," I concluded the book I was reading to the boys and they clapped excitedly."Daddy is better at reading stories than Mommy," Mason yelled."That's not true," Robin argued."Our other Daddy is equally good too," Justin challenged and I chuckled. Now, each boy was just talking about their favourite parent and not the best in reading stories anymore. It didn't seem right to me at first that the boys had favourites but after I realized that I didn't change how they treated the other parents, I accepted that fact."Daddy, is the food ready yet?" Robin asked and I grimaced. The whole point of reading them a book was to distract Robin from his hunger till food would be ready. He had suddenly proclaimed that he was hungry a few minutes ago but the maids were still cooking and I knew that he would refuse dinner if I gave him snacks so wanted to wait till the food was ready."I'll ask the cook now," I smiled at him and stood up. "Just stay with your
Cassandra's POVI stopped in front of my car after walking to where it was in Jason's parking lot with him. I felt very much calm now that I had confirmed that the boys were fine and informed Jason of Ana's threat. He was extremely confident in the security measures he had and that made me feel very relieved. I could sense that he would do extra to make sure the boys were safe after my warning though and that made me feel even more assured."You can get going now," I told him as I turned to face him with a smile. However, he just remained silent and I was about to speak up when he suddenly started leaning in. Panic immediately arose in me on noticing that and I froze out of shock. What was I supposed to do? Would talking make him stop? Was I supposed to push him away? I needed to think of something and quick before he would finally kiss me. I knew how long it took before I was able to get the memory of his kiss off my mind last time and didn't want to repeat that."Jason," I blurted o
Jason's POVI ruffled my hair frustratedly as Cassandra drove away from me at a high speed and groaned. I felt like I was going crazy presently as everything that had happened flashed through my mind.I couldn't believe everything that I had done in the past few minutes. Did I really try convincing a woman who was engaged to mess around with me just because I wanted her? What was I even thinking?Oh right, that was the problem; I wasn't even thinking!I was just talking and talking like a fool, but actually being honest and saying whatever came to my mind without bothering to filter it. I was truly confident of everything I told her except the part where I asked her to be with me.Did I really want her to stick with me when she was engaged? She was going to be cheating on her fiance. Would I really be able to accept her in my life if she actually wanted to cheat on Jason and be with me in secret until I figured out what I was feeling?Actually, yes. My conscience didn't even feel pric
Cassandra's POVI exhaled deeply as I pulled over in the parking lot on finally getting home and turned off the car engine. I really wished that I could remain in this car for hours and even sleep here.I didn't want to be with Liam after what happened with Jason as I was feeling extremely guilty. Today's situation wasn't like last time when it was just a brief kiss, it was deeper and more prolonged. I was even kissing him back like my life depended on it.But it actually felt awfully close to that as at then. I wanted more and more of his lips with each taste I got without even being restrained by the fact that I had been cheating on my fiance at that moment. It was just a kiss but I was very disturbed by it as in that moment, I didn't just kiss him back in one thoughtless moment then pull back. I kissed him back by reflex and liked the taste of his lips so sought to get more and more.I also shared in his desire for something more between the both of us regardless of how much I trie
Jason's POV"Alpha, there is an emergency downstairs and we need your presence immediately," a maid informed me over the intercom in my study with panic evident in her voice."What is happening there? I asked and she swallowed."Someone was caught trying to put something into the young masters' lunch," she revealed and my eyelids flared in annoyance.I rushed out of the room and on getting downstairs, met a maid on her knees crying and begging just in front of the kitchen door with the other maids standing around her."What is going on here?" I thundered to catch everyone's attention and the maids all began speaking at the same time. "Silence!" I ordered and looked around the people gathered for someone who I was familiar with.My eyes soon landed on a woman who had been working with me for a very long time and I decided that she was the one who would be able to explain."What happened here?" I asked with a pointed look at her and she bowed her head."Alpha, I heard this uproar ongoin
Cassandra's POVI was in the sitting room surfing the internet when I heard the doorbell so went to open the door only to be faced with the sight of Jason standing at my doorstep with a frown. The boys hugged me excitedly and I smiled at them, glad to have some noise back in the house but still bothered by Jason's frown."Welcome back, boys," I told them as I collected the one backpack they carried with them on their trip. They already had lots of clothes and toys at Jason's house so scarcely needed to carry anything on their trips to his house anymore."Hi, Jason," I waved at him and he merely nodded in response which aroused a form of heaviness in my chest that I was going to believe was anger and nothing else."Mommy, the cops came to our house today!" Justin reported to me as we walked inside."They were so cool," Robin added and I gave Jason a quizzical look but he gave me a blank stare. Why were the cops in his house? Did something happen? Was it about private business or did it
Jason's POVIt was so crazy how all I could think of after handling the case with Ana and the maid was Cassandra and how she ignored my calls but even crazier how all those anger faded away once she yelled at me.She was so cute when angry.Hell, she was beautiful all the time which was something I always had in my mind everytime I saw her since meeting her and the boys months ago. The sudden desire for her and my eyes following her every move only got spurred after that brief kiss in her sitting room and I had never looked at her differently afterwards.I knew that it was stupid of me to hold her close when we were in an open place which was even her fiance's territory and not mine but I couldn't resist the urge.I was terribly attracted to this woman sexually and it wasn't even dampened by the thought that she was taken anymore after that kiss yesterday which showed that she wanted me too."Now, my suggestion remains the same; let's keep this thing between us a secret for now and ju
