Chapter 128

Cassandra's POV

I stopped in front of my car after walking to where it was in Jason's parking lot with him. I felt very much calm now that I had confirmed that the boys were fine and informed Jason of Ana's threat.

He was extremely confident in the security measures he had and that made me feel very relieved. I could sense that he would do extra to make sure the boys were safe after my warning though and that made me feel even more assured.

"You can get going now," I told him as I turned to face him with a smile.

However, he just remained silent and I was about to speak up when he suddenly started leaning in. Panic immediately arose in me on noticing that and I froze out of shock.

What was I supposed to do? Would talking make him stop? Was I supposed to push him away? I needed to think of something and quick before he would finally kiss me. I knew how long it took before I was able to get the memory of his kiss off my mind last time and didn't want to repeat that.
