Chapter 119

Cassandra's POV

Liam continued ignoring me even after Mason and the boys came back home and I decided to stop bothering myself about it, concluding that he would stop eventually.

During the same week that the boys returned, we had a meeting at Jason's company and as usual, Liam, Mrs Berkeley and I were in attendance. Eventually, the meeting came to an end and we exchanged handshakes at the end of the meeting.

Knowing that Liam was still angry at me because of his jealousy, I deliberately avoided shaking Jason and was already about to leave the room when Jason walked towards me.

"Hey," he said in a low tone and I smiled back at him politely.

"Good day."

"So I want to pick the kids up today as we haven't seen each other since I returned them home on Tuesday," he informed me.

"That's fine," I muttered, looking at my wristwatch. "You'll have to leave soon though."

"Sure, I will."

"Okay, I'll get going now," I replied, noticing Liam's eyes fixed on us at this point so deciding to get away.
