I might have thought that things would get weird between Camden and me, but he treated me the same way as before. We were buddies, palling around the base together, hanging out off base, and occasionally going back to the sex arcade. It was only there that we touched each other in anything but a platonic way. I’m thankful that I have someone that can teach me the ropes without expecting anything or pushing me. We both know that we have mates out there and anything that we do right now is just for fun.

And boy is it fun.

But that is coming to an end, unfortunately. At least temporarily. I am being summoned home for the alpha ceremony.
