Chapter 60

Alan's POV

Later that evening, I found myself unpacking my suitcase whilst Rachel minded hers. Unlike me, she didn't carry a lot of things with her so her task was finished sooner than mine did. It was when I finished putting my toiletries in their respective places that I realised that we had yet to have dinner.

Rachel was in no shape to cook, obviously, and I realised that neither was I. All the last minute travelling had taken a toll on me and the previous revelation that Rachel made just about drained any scant energy left in me. Ordering take out seemed like the logical option at that point.

"Do you have anything in mind for dinner?" I brought myself to ask as I walked into my closet to sort my clothes out.

"I have a weird craving for Indian food, suddenly." I heard her voice from the room and it subconsciously elicited a smile from me.

"Indian?"

"Yes. A good spicy Biriyani, preferably chicken."
