We woke up at 3 am to make sure that we get to the field in time. We went to the shower house and was lucky to find it empty.
By the time we were ready to leave most of the dorm room got up, so we weren't swept up in all the activity.
After we almost got lost twice we made it to the field. The instructors were already there waiting for us. I knew by the look on the instructor's face that it was going to be a long day
We waited for everyone and once everyone arrived the instructors placed everyone into age groups. That means Anthony and I are in the same group.
"Settle down everyone. Look around you. This will be your group for the remainder of this course. You will train in this group and also eat in this group. Now I'm going to assign you a senior-only for today. He will run in front of you so you can learn the grounds. You have 30 minutes to complete this course first in human form and then in werewolf form. Now go."
We ran after the senior. The terrain was hard and full of rocks. Anthony and I stayed in front of the group. Once we got back to the starting line our senior didn't give us much time to change into our wolves before he sets back off on the trail.
After our run, we waited for the rest of the group. This is why I love to be in the front. It gives you the opportunity to rest up while you wait for the others to catch up.
The instructor walked up to me and Anthony.
"Well done boys. I hope to see more of this good work in training. Get ready we are sparring next."
Antony and I look at each other confused. Why would the instructor come up to us to compliment us? We heard rumors that the instructors are hard asses. That they are more like drill sergeants than actual people.
Everybody finally arrived after their lap. The instructor walks towards us.
"Welcome back boys. I am happy that you made the lap under 30 minutes. That means all of you are in tip-top shape. Now make a circle." The instructor waited for everyone to form a circle before he continued to talk." Now we are going to spare. I will point to two of you and you will fight. After the fight, I will show you what you did wrong and how you can approve it. The fight will be until someone is pinned down. Remember this is friendly fighting. If you choose to change into your wolves it will be allowed but I don't want you to draw any blood. Do I make myself clear."
"Yes sir." We all applied in unison.
Let's start. I want you and you." The instructor pointed to two random boys and they walked into the middle. They took up their fighting position. They circled around each other and then everything became a blur. I zoned out for most of the class. Anthony had to tap me when the instructor called on me. Luckily I had to fight against Anthony.
We circled each other and my wolf took over. I fought like my life depended on it making sure not to hurt my one and only friend in this place. I landed a couple of good shots, but I still didn't win.
After our fight, the instructor came forward.
"Boys I see that you held back a bit. Remember that you won't be able to hold back once you are in a real fight. I want you to work on your stances. You leave yourself open to attacks. Both of you let your guard down after 5 min into the fight. Grayson, I want to talk to you after class please."
I nod my head and went back to my position in the circle.
After class, I walked up to the instructor.
"I want to talk to you about your fighting. You have the potential to become a great Alpha but you need to get your wolf under control. The whole fight trough I saw you were fighting against your wolf."
"Yes sir. Sometimes when I fight he just takes over. I just didn't want to hurt my friend."
"I understand, but we are going to help you in taking back control. I read your file and I know that you have angel and werewolf blood. We will help you harness both in a fight."
"Thank you, sir." The instructor turns around and walks away. I am dumbfounded. I would like to harness both. My mother always trained my angel side and my father trained my werewolf side. It will be nice if I was trained both at the same time.
I made my way to the dining hall. I look around and see Anthony. He held a place open for me and also got me some food.
"So what did the instructor want?" Anthony asked as soon as I sit down.
"He told me he could help me harness both my angel and werewolf side in a fight. He also told me I should get my wolf under control."
"I think he is right you know. Someone of the punches you landed really hurt." Anthony smiles at me.
"Yeah sorry about that. I am working on that. Hopefully next time I will win the fight."
We finished our breakfast in silence. We went up to our room showered once again and made our way to our classes.
My most interesting class is negotiations. I learned so much. The rest of the classes were quite boring since I know half of the things they thought us. My father made sure I learned the way a pack was run from a very young age.
The day went by so fast that I could barely take a breath before it was time for our next training session.
That night I was so exhausted I didn't have the energy to go for a shower.

Mia POVI have been working in the strip club for a week now and I hate every moment of it. The only good thing about this job is the tips I make.
