Sydney
Leah, Mike, and I went out for our last meal together the day before the 'wedding.' Mike's Steakhouse was our destination. Mike was grumpy as usual, and I was agitated. He'd been particularly silent recently; perhaps he was still angry with me or mistook me for a gold digger who took the easy way out. Maybe he was correct.
He dropped us near our door and was about to climb up for his flat when I called him. He stopped and looked at me curiously.
"Are you mad at me?" I asked.
He looked amused, " no, why would I be mad at you?"
I looked at his face for any hints. There wasn't any.
"I just figured you'd think I took the easy way out," I said.
"Anyone would have done the same Sydney, don't beat yourself up over it. I was just thinking about Rob, he is getting a TV role for me
Aiden "Do you accept this woman as your lawfully wedded wife, Aiden Reiner?" The man inquired. I said, "I do." "Do you accept this man as your lawfully wedded husband, Sydney Rosbak?" After a few seconds of silence, I tightened my grip on her hand, hoping to shake her out of her trance. She shivered. She answered gently, "I do." "I now pronounce you husband and wife, and you may kiss the bride." Her gaze fell on mine at that point. Her eyes were filled with terror and bewilderment. Jennifer had done an excellent job in selecting Sydney’s outfit and accessories. She appeared stunning! For a brief moment, I wanted to cancel everything and rush her into my room. For the time being, I had to make do with simply a kiss. Her soft lips brushed against mine, and I k
As I have stated this story will have multiple points of views. The next chapter will have the author's point of view in the first half and the Character's point of view in the second half. This story is going to have a lot of twists and turns hence I am using this approach of writing the story. Just making it clear so that it's not confusing for the readers. Also, Sydney might appear as a weak character to some. She is supposed to be weak. Not all women are born strong. They grow and gain strengths through their experiences of life. This is the first time I have tried multiple points of views. Your feedbacks are welcome. Thanks
Marilyn glared angrily at the television. The obnoxious anchor was babbling about Aiden's surprise wedding to an unknown woman. Finally, the camera was able to zoom close on the face of the unnamed woman. Marilyn was stunned and unable to respond. What were the chances of this happening? Wasn't she supposed to be incarcerated awaiting trial? Where did her strategy go wrong? How in the world did she got Aiden to pay her bail and marry her? She became enraged and snatched the champagne glass from her hand and slammed it at the screen. The screen did not shatter, but the glass did. The screen and the floor were covered in shards of glass and champagne. Marilyn looked down at her phone when it rang. She took the phone tentatively. "You failed!" A voice said from the other side. "Look, I tried my best! I don't know what happened...." "Meet me right now!" The voice said and cut the call. Marilyn sc
Sydney In the bathroom mirror, I glanced at myself. I'd showered and changed my clothes. I had stayed inside for as long as I could because I was frightened to go outside. I'd ran out of reasons, so if he'd given me another second to explain, I'd have told him I was still terrified - which could or might not have helped. What difference did it make? A knock jolted me out of my trance. "Are you going to spend the night inside?" Through the heavy door, his voice came in. That was a good idea, but I couldn't carry it out. If it had come to that, he would have ripped the door apart. I pulled my robe tighter about myself and pushed open the door. His fingers wrapped themselves around my arm without warning. He used it to pin me against the wall next to the door, vice-like. My body stiffened instantly, and I took a deep, mindful inhale. As he bent over me, h
Sydney His fingers went back to my robe, eventually taking it off completely. I shuddered beneath his gaze now that I was completely naked. He almost said to himself, "Lovely." "How could I blame myself for desiring you?" He pressed his hands against my thighs and opened them wide again, giving him complete and total access to my womanhood. He dropped his mouth this time. I was acutely aware of the fresh encroachment of every touch as he kissed along my sex, his stubble more ticklish than ever. I'd never been kissed 'there,' and it was a strangely arousing experience. He moved farther in, unfazed by my squirms, and I froze as he approached the opening of my lips. I took a deep breath and was immediately confronted by his tongue pressing into me. My breathing began to have an odd, shallow pattern. His tongue was inside of me, warm and wet against my walls, and t
Aiden As I gently awoke from my rest, the morning light burst through the windows with a soothing warmth, and it was the first thing that met me. The second sensation was a tickling of scented hair against my nose, as well as a sensation of a smaller, softer body snuggling against my side. As the memories of the previous night came back to me, I couldn't help but smirk. "Well, good morning there," I replied, putting my mouth near her ears. Sometime during the night, my arm had reached out, and her head lay lightly on it, close to my own. In a strange way, it felt good. It's not like I've never had attractive women before. But this whole thing just felt different. Her body went cold when she realised where she awoke, and I heard her rustle. "How are you doing this morning?" I murmured this while touching her brow and tracing her beautiful facial lines.
Sydney What exactly is love? Is it when a man and woman love each other? I understand those, but how does it function in a circumstance like this? I wasn't sure how I was supposed to reconcile my hatred for myself. Yes, we had a strong physical attraction to one other. That could not be denied, but he did not deserve to be hated simply because he was a cunning human being. He made it apparent that he wanted my body and a wife to placate his grandfather. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into when I signed this deal. It seemed pointless to despise him for following through on his contractual commitments. "You are very quiet today," Aiden's voice broke my reverie and I suddenly looked up from my half-eaten plate. We were sitting down for an elaborate breakfast at a charming cafe. He had insisted on driving around and stopped at this breakfast place. The cafe was on a cliff facing
Sydney Aiden was slowly nibbling my lips and kissing them. My loins began to stir once more. After our picnic lunch, one thing led to another, and we were now romping on the sand. Aiden hoisted my knees to his shoulders and lined up his rigid member at my entrance, easing himself above me. He slipped home in one long smooth stroke, filling me, while holding me by my hips. As I squeezed around him, I heard him groan. My back was raked by the sand, and my breathing was laboured. I encircled him with my arms and legs, lifting my hips to his level. He began pounding furiously, hooking his arms under my shoulders and pressing his lips to mine. Aiden pushed with an urgency that had me gasping for air, and all I could do was hang on fast. I was in paradise as his hips drove in over and over again. I flexed my hips forwards as I felt the flush come over me, ready to m
As his wife pursued their little daughter, Aiden smiled. Squealing, the toddler hid under the table. "Aiden, please handle your daughter!" Sydney cried as she collapsed on the couch. "She's not listening to me." Aiden smiled and knelt down, pleading with the small girl to leave the table. The youngster burst out laughing and hugging her father. Aiden kissed the adorable bundle, and his daughter was still almost instantly. With huge green eyes and a grin, she glanced up at her father. "I don't understand how you do that every time," Sydney mumbled, crossly looking at her happily gurgling daughter. "Angela never listens to me. She is so different from Ethan." "Not like her brother," Aiden said, pointing to Angela's twin, who was playing on the mat and holding his blanket. Ethan had always been a quiet child. Unlike his sister, he was not a troublemaker. Sydney grinned and held her hands out for her daughter. She wanted a cuddle. Aiden handed her over, then hugged both Sydney and Ang
Sydney quickly recovered over the next two weeks. Her gunshot wound had mostly healed, and she was ready to return home. She just couldn't decide which house to go to. She didn't know what would happen between Aiden and her. They hadn't discussed it until now. Aiden had been preoccupied with the situation. It was difficult to keep four bodies hidden from the media, one of them being Marilyn. It was all over the news the next day. Aiden's opponents had learned of the event and were quick to investigate. Reiners manipulated the media as usual, and the truth about his late father was once again hidden. Mrs Reiner's kidnapping was attributed to William and Marilyn as the masterminds. Marilyn was the dumped girlfriend, and William was the enraged second son, who banded together for vengeance. They bribed Eric, Mike, and Rob with promises of money and movie roles to carry out their orders. That's how the story was presented to the public. Fiona, on the other hand, was too distraught to he
- Aiden I couldn't remember how long I'd been sitting in the waiting room; my vision was blurry, and I hadn't eaten in at least 12 hours. "Here," Leah said, handing me a styrofoam cup full of hot coffee. "Thank you," I said graciously. She took a seat next to me and seemed to have a question for me. I moved my gaze hither. "I am sorry for what Mike did, had I known he was involved with....all this. I am sorry." She apologized. "It's not your fault, it's all because of my dad." I looked down at the brown liquid. "I will try my best to get Mike out," I said, assuring her. "That isn't necessary; Mike must pay for his crimes. Just look after Sydney." She stated it with a faint smile. When the operating room door opened, I dashed over to Dr. Matt. "We've done everything we can, but she's fallen into a coma. It's now entirely up to her to get up whenever she wants." Matt stated solemnly. "NO! You assured her that everything would be fine! I want my wife back!" I yelled. "Calm down
Detective Conan made his way through the dense undergrowth to the warehouse. He walked around the building, looking for a weak area through which he could enter unobserved. He discovered the fire escape that led to the second floor. The iron stairs were rusted and old, but they would last a while. He climbed the stairs slowly and silently. When he got to the top floor, he tried to unlock the door but realised it wasn't locked. He crept inside quietly, making sure the door didn't squeak. From below, he could hear muffled voices. To gaze down, he moved closer to the landing. The stairs directly in front of him would lead him down into the kidnappers' full view. He couldn't risk it, so he crouched in the shadows and waited at the viewpoint. Down below, there were eight people: four men and four women. Two of them appeared to be lifeless. He observed the tied women and two men holding the gun at Aiden. Although he couldn't see the woman's face, who was without a gun, he noticed she was
Aiden Fiona's eyes widened, and William appeared perplexed. Eric appeared shocked at first, but then his face erupted into a broad smile, followed by a wild laugh. "What did you call him? Who the fuck is Javier?" William asked. "Damn you Aiden! I wish you weren't so smart. Now you've spoiled my fun," Eric cribbed, still laughing. "Fun? You call this fun ?" I pointed to the lifeless bodies of Rob and Marilyn. "Aiden, there are main characters, antagonists, and extras in a play. Usually, the extras perish. They were only there as extras." As if this was a drama for him, he explained. "So this is play for you? You are a psychopath, Javier!" I said through clenched teeth. "Woah! Hold on! Why do you keep referring to him as Javier?" William inquired again, his face annoyed. Fiona looked at Eric as if he had grown horns. She was visibly trembling. "No! It's not possible, "she exclaimed, covering her mouth. "Surprised? Are you? I suppose you recall your husband's actions." Eric smil
- Aiden Mike was bundled off by the police. The detective lingered and fixed his gaze on me. "I'm Detective Conan, and the chief contacted me about your missing wife. How many hours has she been missing?" He inquired idly. "I assume she has been kidnapped for around six hours. There hasn't been a demand for ransom yet, but I expect one soon "I said. "So, Mr Reiner, how may I assist you?" The detective was curious. I said, lifting an eyebrow at him, "Of course, help me find my wife." "I heard the suspect, your wife has only been missing for.... like six hours. And she left home willingly. It's still too early to…" I cut him off before he could finish. "I get it, but this is different; I'm sure she's in great danger." My rage was growing once more. "We are doing all we can, Mr Reiner, but there are certain procedures and protocols which have to be followed," the detective explained. "I believe I made it clear to the Commissioner that I needed someone I could trust, someone who
Eric couldn't believe their good luck in capturing Sydney so quickly. Aiden would have no choice but to succumb to his whims and fancies, with her as a hostage. He no longer needed his complex plot to eliminate the Reiners. "So, what are your plans for her? Can I try her out first?" William inquired, his face beaming. Eric gave a withering look at William. 'What an Idiot! Soon he and his entire family would be rotting in hell! And all he cares for is getting laid.' Eric thought with great satisfaction. He gave William a cunning smile. "First, let us wake up our little whore." "Eric, this...this whole thing is getting out of hand! You... you never said there would be innocent lives involved!" Marilyn stammered, wringing her hands nervously. If only she knew that Eric was a psychopath who would be killing off so many people, she would never have agreed to join his mad plan. All she wanted was Aidan. "Marilyn, you agreed to join us, don't you want Aiden? You're not backing out now,
Aiden Sydney had been missing for hours. I went to her old apartment, checked at Mike's place and both flats were unoccupied. Though her car was parked near the building. Did she run away with him? NO! My heart refused to believe that. My phone ran again and this time it was Michael – "We caught him, Mr Reiner," he said, "the suspect on that tape we caught." "Mike?" I inquired. "You won't believe what he was trying to do. He was attempting to blow up our weapons storage facility! We discovered him trying to enter with forged credentials. He is adamant on speaking with you. What are your recommendations? Should we contact the authorities?" "No! I'll be there in an hour, so don't call the police ".I thanked my lucky stars over the phone for the breakthrough. After that, I contacted Clifton. "I'd like you to do something for me, Clifton." "Yes?" He answered. "Check on Eric Randall, the owner of the Emerald theatre, to find out his whereabouts. Follow him when you find him. Also,
Sydney Neither Leah nor Mike answered the phone when I called. It wasn't surprising; it was still early, and they'd most likely be sleeping. I was slightly out of breath by the time I got to Leah's floor. Fortunately, I still retained my old flat's extra key. I opened the door and went inside. Switching on the light, I checked Leah's bedroom. It was empty, the whole flat was empty. It wasn't that big, to miss any corner. Perhaps Leah stayed the night with her new boyfriend. She was smitten with one of her classmates. I decided to look around Mike's place. I approached his door and was ready to knock when it opened and Mike strolled out. He was dressed strangely in a jumpsuit that appeared to be some kind of uniform. It dawned on me that he was also wearing a lot of makeup. He looked just like the dude in the video! "Mike!" I exclaimed, my gaze fixed on him. Mike took a quick look around before dragging me inside and closing the door. I was too startled to feel anything, so I said,
