Storm

I glanced away, not wanting to appear weak. A Luna was meant to be someone who was fierce and strong. She was meant to be her Alphas equal. A strong Alpha needed a strong Luna who had his back in any situation he might find himself in. Not a weak Luna that he had to worry over, on top of everything else an Alpha had to handle. What kind of Luna was I going to be if a simple pack ceremony turned me into a nervous wreck?

“I know my pack, love, they will welcome you with open arms. They loved their previous Luna, and they will love you too. I know you are nervous, but you have nothing to worry about. Now, the girls are going to help you get organised for your induction ceremony. I want you to feel like a princess for your special night,” he said, placing a gentle kiss on my temple.

“We didn’t bring any clothes for special occasions,” I whispered, as he linked his fingers with mine.

“Well, I’m sure my daughters would never pass up a shopping trip, I

Storm Storm Saturday morning, I awoke once again wrapped in Doyle’s arms. Wanting to go back to sleep, I snuggled closer to Doyle, who wrapped his arms tighter around my waist in his sleep, drawing me in closer to him. I kept my eyes closed, enjoying the secure feeling of being wrapped up in his warmth. “Are you ready to meet the pack and be introduced to them as their Luna?” he asked, nuzzling into my neck. I jumped at the sound of his voice, not realising he had woken up. He kissed my neck and whispered, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you. You have nothing to worry about love, you are going to be a great Luna, and the pack will love you.” “Just promise me that once the ceremony is underway, you will be by my side the entire time,” I whispered. “You have my word, love, I won’t leave your side for a minute if that’s what you want,” he whispered placing a chaste kiss on my lips. “That’s what I want,” I whispered, smiling at him. Leah The three of us girls had finished getting ready for the ceremony and we made our way into Lena and my father’s bedroom to help Lena get ready. When the three of us entered the bedroom. Lena looked at the three of us and said, “You girls look stunning.” “Thank you, Lena,” I said, smiling at her in thanks. “We do, don’t we?” Lilly asked, with a cheeky smile on her face. “Now, it is time for us to get you ready,” Julie told Lena, grinning at her in excitement. Lilly and I each grabbed Lena by her arms and guided her out of the room while Julie went into Lena’s closet and grabbed the blue gown, we had hung up in there the night before. We led Lena downstairs to the second floor and into my bedroom, sitting her down in front of the grand solid timber makeup station that I had gotten for my birthday two years before. I noticed Lena was looking at the makeup station in admiration. After a moment of looking at the makeup station, Lena lo

Storm When I got downstairs, I made my way into the living room where I found Doyle talking to Beta Sean and a woman that I hadn’t met before. Doyle looked up as we entered the room, and his eyes roamed over me as he broke out into a smile. He walked over to me, kissing me on my forehead, and whispering, “You look gorgeous love.” “Thank you,” I replied, a slight blush making its way over my face. “Lena, I would like to introduce you to Beta Sean’s wife, Siobhan,” Doyle said, motioning to the woman standing beside Beta Sean. Siobhan was an elegant woman, she looked to be in her early forties, she had delicate fair ivory skin, her hair was a rich chestnut colour, and she had the most stunning green eyes I had ever seen. She was dressed in a deep emerald-green two-piece lace-up corset bodice A-line satin strapless dress. She looked stunning! “Luna Lena, it is very nice to meet you,” Siobhan said, walking forward, holding her hand out. I r

Storm When we arrived at the building where the ceremony was to take place, we got out of the cars and made our way into the building which had a stage up the front of the main room. There were lines of tables lining the back walls which were filled with assorted trays and bowls of food. A few people were standing in the room in groups, talking and laughing. A few people were getting refreshments at the tables. To the left of the room, there were various doors. One was the entryway to the kitchen. Further along the left wall, there were two doors, which had signs on them, showing they were bathrooms. On the right, there were two lots of French doors which led out to a large undercover entertainment deck. The deck was swarming with people. Doyle led me and the three girls with him up to the stage. Beta Sean came up on stage and approached the microphone. “Okay, Ladies and gentlemen, could you gather around please so we can begin?" Beta Sean asked. At h

Storm When we got home, after saying goodnight to everyone, we made our way upstairs and into our bedroom. Once we were inside our room, Doyle closed the door and grabbed my arm, dragging me back to him. He placed his hands on either side of my face and placed a gentle kiss on my lips before whispering, “You are so beautiful.” As soon as he let me go, I removed my heels and gown then made my way into the bathroom to take a shower, as I was waiting for the shower to heat up. I removed the braids from my hair and gathered my hair back up into a messy bun tying it up with a hairband, so my hair wouldn’t get wet in the shower. As soon as the water was hot enough, I got into the shower and began washing myself using Doyle’s bath products. I had found that I loved smelling like him. As I was washing my face getting the make-up off, I felt hands grab my hips causing me to jump. I turned around and saw Doyle smiling at me. I playfully smacked him on the shoulder, and

Storm Not wanting to wait a moment longer for Doyle to finish in the shower, I walked into the bathroom. But once I was in there, I decided I didn’t want to behave like a nymphomaniac or have him think badly of me. So, I got control of myself and turned around and walked right back out. This is crazy! Doyle and I were going to be behaving like nymphomaniacs for the next two weeks anyway so why not just make a start on it already? Deciding that that’s what I would do, I went to walk back into the bathroom again when I suddenly felt a tearing pain across my lower abdomen. It felt as if someone had just stabbed me in the abdomen and then dragged the knife across my stomach. The pain was so intense that it brought me to my knees and brought tears to my eyes. I was kneeling on the ground, my body heated up as if I were in a sauna with the temperature set far too high. I heard a sound and looked up just as Doyle walked into the room. The only thing he

Storm Throughout the night, Doyle took me to pleasurable heights on numerous occasions. We hardly slept. It felt as if I had only just drifted off to sleep and he would be waking me up once again to go another round. The following morning, I was awoken by Doyle trailing kisses along my neck and collar bone. Opening my eyes, I smiled at him, before rolling him onto his back and climbing onto him, straddling him. I looked into his eyes as I lowered myself onto him, taking him deep inside of me. I began moving my hips in a fast rhythm, taking him to his climactic release. After his climax, I was still sitting astride him lost in thought when Doyle sat up, pulling me close to him. A moment later, he stood up, and carrying me in his arms, he made his way into the bathroom. He set me down on the countertop and turned on the shower, adjusting the water temperature. Once he had the temperature right, he came over and lifted me off the countertop and carried me into t

Storm Storm After our late breakfast, which was more of a brunch. The girls and I made our way up to the second floor to the games room. We began playing a game of eight ball while we were enjoying our catchup session. Doyle and Sean were in Doyle’s office going over everything that had happened during Doyle’s absence. The girls and I were talking and laughing as the girls were reciting stories and telling me about what had been happening on campus during my absence. Listening to them telling their stories and laughing and joking, it made me realise just how much I had missed them. I would really miss spending time with them if I stayed away from Uni and took online classes like Doyle had suggested. I was feeling like I would take him up on that offer, especially since I didn’t want to be away from him now. Later in the afternoon, we were watching a movie when Lilly suggested we should all go to the lake for a swim and to play. I was quick to agree as m

  • Trapped in the Storm   Epilogue

Storm The next morning, Doyle was so excited about the pregnancy that he couldn’t contain his excitement. From the moment we had woken up, he had been grinning like the cat that had gotten the cream, the milk, and the canary. When we had gotten Dalton and gone downstairs, he had announced it to everyone at the breakfast table. There had been cheers and congratulations and a few dirty jokes, but everyone was just as excited as we were about our new little surprise. After breakfast, Doyle had announced a pack meeting just as he had promised he would, and we had left to go to the place where my induction ceremony had taken place. When we arrived, I had looked at all the pack members who had been so warm and welcoming towards me and who could not contain their joy for me and Doyle when Dalton had been born; they had welcomed me into the pack as if I was part of their family. Now I was a little worried that they were all going to hate me

Storm We had flown back to Ireland, and I was glad to be back home. Doyle and I had hugged our baby boy close as soon as we had gotten home, and we had spent the evening watching movies with Leah, Lilly, and Julie. Mike had joined us as well. It had been a good family night. Before we had left Texas, Winter had pulled me aside and asked me so many questions about my life in Ireland. I know she wanted to make sure that I was happy, and that I was safe. I understood the protective side of her. She had stepped into the role of my mother right after our mother had been killed. I had explained everything to her. I had told her about Dalton, and I had explained to her that as a mother, I had held off mentioning him before, because I was protecting him. My baby had been the most important thing in my life, and I couldn’t risk Mason or our father finding out about his existence. As a new mother, Winter understood where I was coming from in that matter. We had talked about ou

Storm "I am only going to say this once, so all of you fuckers had better listen. I mean it, every single one of you. Even if Winter, Leon, Finn, and I have to tag-team it and fight our way through every member of this pack and have bodies piling up left, right and centre. I can firmly assure you, one way or another Finn and Leon will be the Alpha’s of this pack by sundown. Or at least what would be left of this pack anyway, because if anyone has earned the right to go on a killing spree through this fucked up pack… it is me! And rest assured if I start fighting any of you, those two will be right in the thick of it, so good luck with that,” I said, pointing to Doyle and Sean. “Now Josh, pull your head out of your ass and think before you speak. Because, since I have been back here, all you mutts have been acting as if this is all my fault. Like things suddenly went bad after I left! Lightbulb moment for all of you. Things were always bad in this pack and had been si

Storm I looked back towards the pack and said, “Members of the Hunter's Moon Pack as the two rightful heirs to this pack my sister Winter and I are going to install leadership for this pack. So, may I present to you, our choices for dual leadership, Leon, and Finn Weber. They are Alpha Felix’s brothers, so they are from an Alpha family, and they have our full support in this matter. So, if all of you screw up, we will all kick you asses.” Josh stepped forward, “Like hell, no way! You pair of traitorous bastards ran away like little cowards in the dead of the night. Where were the two of you when the pack was under attack? Hiding just like cowards, that’s where! Neither one of you deserves to be Alpha of this pack!” Josh spat; anger clearly displayed on his face. “And let me guess Josh. I suppose you think you deserve to be the Alpha of this pack!” I said looking at Josh and laughing in disgust. “I would be a better Alpha then either of you!” he

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 105

Storm As soon as we landed in Texas, Doyle hired an SUV to take us to the Hunter’s Moon pack’s territory. Upon our arrival there, it surprised me to see just how much damage had been done during the attack. There were burned out structures everywhere, and I could tell by the small number of people that were out and about tidying up, that the pack had suffered quite a significant loss in pack numbers. As soon as people saw me, I began receiving looks of hostility and blame. I didn’t let this phase me though. I didn’t like these people any more than they liked me. And as far as I was concerned, I didn’t care what they thought of me. I was standing beside Doyle and Sean when I sent a text to Winter. Me: Back in hell, where are you? Winter: Back on Texas soil, be with you soon xx Looking at one of the men who was standing nearby, I said, “You need to call a pack meeting now. Every pack member must be in attendance. Storm During the flight I went and lay down in the master bedroom. I had so much on my mind, and I was totally wiped out. Plus, I was concerned about my baby. Separation anxiety had kicked in big time and had left me crying just like a baby. A while later, after my cry baby episode, I was laying in the dark trying to clear my head when Doyle came in. When he looked at me, he could see I had been crying. He came over to the bed and lay down beside me, pulling me into his arms. I lay there in his arms, with my head on his chest. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “Separation anxiety,” I whispered. “You’re missing Dalton?” he asked. I nodded in answer to his question. “I miss him already,” I whispered. “That is normal love. You will be worrying until you have him in your arms again and can see with your own eyes that he is safe,” he replied. I lifted my head, bracing all my weight on my right arm. I looked down at him for a moment before p

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 103

Storm Three weeks later I was in the nursery restocking baby supplies with Leah when Lilly came upstairs to tell me that Doyle wanted to see me in his office. “Why didn’t he just use mind link and tell me?” I asked. “I don’t know, he just told me that if I saw you, I was to tell you he wanted to see you in his office,” Lilly replied. “Better go down there, you don’t want to keep him waiting,” Leah said. I walked out of the nursery and made my way to Doyle’s office. When I got there, I saw that Sean was sitting at Doyle’s desk, in the chair opposite Doyle. I walked in and closed the door behind me. “We have got some news for you,” Doyle said as I walked over to his desk. “Okay…” I replied, taking a seat beside Sean. “We have received word that the Hunter’s Moon pack was attacked and that the pack has lost many of their pack members. I thought you should know,” Doyle said, watching me closely so he could get

Storm “Lena, what the fuck?” snapped James glaring at me. “Watch your mouth!” Sean snapped back. “You don’t ever speak to your Luna like that, or you will have me to deal with! Do you understand me?” Doyle asked glaring at James. “Yes Alpha, my apologies,” James said lowering his eyes. “Don’t apologise to me boy, apologies are owed to your Luna,” Doyle growled. “Apologies Luna,” James said looking at me. I met his gaze and just gave him a deep guttural growl. So, he could lower his eyes in respect to Doyle, but not to me. Suddenly I was annoyed, and my wolf was feeling bitchy and decided she needed to show it. She decided it was time to call James out on his shit and I agreed with her. It was past time to sort this crap out. Opening my mind link to the pack members within the room, I asked, “James, where were you and Daniel the day that the girls and I went for a run and got attacked by the rogues at the stream? You and

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 101

Storm After my father’s phone call, we finished up our pack business in Doyle’s office before making our way downstairs to check on Liam and the girls and the baby. When I got downstairs, I saw James and Daniel and James’ mate Sophie in the lounge room with Liam and the others. Well, well, well looks like today is my lucky day. It had been ages since I had seen Daniel and James, so it surprised me to see them and Sophie sitting there with Liam and the girls like it was an everyday occurrence. Sophie was getting too close to Leah and Dalton for my liking. After what that bitch had tried to do to Lilly, my wolf and I wanted her dead. I looked at Lilly who was sitting in the lounge's corner suite, curled up in a ball and looking like she was about to burst into tears. I could feel my wolf clawing within me to get out and wanting to kill Sophie to protect Dalton and Lilly. Before I could lock her down, my wolf took total control, and she forcibly shifted me int
