Alpha Doyle

Without another word, I made my way up the stairs and into my office, locking the door behind me as soon as I entered, ensuring that Lena didn’t do another runner. Walking over to the lounge chair, I dropped Lena onto it, then stood and waited until I had myself under control. As I stood before her, I watched as Lena shrank back into the lounge chair, pushing herself as far back as she could go. A moment later she brought her knees up and rested her folded arms on them. I felt my chest tighten, as I saw that she was visibly shaking and on the verge of tears. As I watched her, I found myself wondering what had happened to her to make her so afraid. She had been afraid of me from day one. The moment she had realised we were mates; she had been terrified enough to run for her life. The knowledge that she was afraid of me, and that she didn’t trust me, didn’t sit well with me. By now the mate bond should have grown enough for her to trust me. I knew it was hypocritic

Alpha Doyle I closed the door and went back to where Lena was sitting. She was still sitting there and not saying a word. “Lena, you need to talk to me love. I need to know what is going on. I need you to trust me and tell me what happened. Who did this to you?” I asked. When she didn’t say anything, I could feel myself getting frustrated. Alphas weren’t used to being ignored. Even though she was our fated mate, my wolf was getting annoyed with her silence. We were used to getting an answer whenever we asked questions. My wolf was fighting to take control so that he could assert his dominance, and I was having a hard time holding him wolf back. As if she could pick up on my wolf fighting to make an appearance, Lena looked up, her eyes meeting mine. I watched as all of the colour drained out of her face, and she shrank back away from me. I fought my wolf, pushing him to the back recesses of my mind, and I walked towards Lena, wanting to reassure her that she had nothi

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 57

Storm I had been sitting there on that lounge for what felt like forever. I was so wound up, that my stomach was in knots, and I was shaking. My lungs and chest felt so tight, that it was hard for me to draw a breath. I was also battling an overload of adrenaline within my system. I kept my guard up, as I continued to make sure that I was aware of where Alpha Doyle was at any given moment. I continued to sit there while he sat at his office desk and worked on his laptop. I was waiting to see if he was going to say anything about what had taken place downstairs earlier. Or, if he was going to say anything about my attempted escape. I was certain that at some point, those two incidents were going to be brought up. Even though I knew that things were going to get bad when he brought them up, I was hoping he would bring them up sooner rather then later. I would prefer to not have them hanging over my head. The more time that passed with nothing being said, the mo

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 58

Storm I was laying on the floor drowning in my own misery over what had just happened. Alpha Doyle’s wolf was standing over me, watching me, almost like he was waiting for me to do something. I stood up and looked at him, making it clear that I wanted out of this office and away from him. Alpha Doyle phased back into his human form and stood before me in all his naked glory. “Shift back!” he ordered, watching me. Because I was born into an Alpha family, his Alpha command didn’t have the affect on me that it would have on an ordinary werewolf. “If you don’t want any trouble love, shift back,” he instructed me. I shifted back into my human form, knowing I was going to be standing naked before him. Standing there in front of him, I looked up at him and before I could think, his lips were suddenly on mine. His arms wrapped around me, and he pulled me in closer to him, the evidence of his arousal poking into my belly. This kiss was hard. It was a k

Storm He broke our kiss and began placing light kisses on my neck once again. I tilted my head back giving him better access. His fingertips traced across my ribcage. I placed my hands on his shoulders, loving the feel of solid muscle under my fingertips. He surprised me when he lifted me up into his arms and carried me over to the lounge chair, laying me down on the lounge, before he lay over me, pressing me into the soft material of the lounge. He began to gently trail light kisses across my collarbone, as his hands moved across my body. He began trailing kisses down the front of my chest, between the valley of my breasts. He began to suckle on my left breast, running his tongue across the hardened nipple. Taking the bud into his mouth he sucked hard on the hardened nipple, grazing his teeth across the sensitive bud. “I can smell your arousal love, and I would bet good money you are wet for me too,” he whispered, his satisfied grin evident in his voice. Til

Storm Later that evening as I was leaving the lounge room to go upstairs to bed, I saw the girls giving each other looks and the thumbs up gestures. I quickly fled the room before they could embarrass me on this matter. I mean, what could I say to them about what had happened between me and their father, honestly? It wasn’t some romantic story you would chat with your girlfriends about over lunch. As soon as I got to the third floor, I made my way into Alpha Doyle’s bedroom and got my clothes ready for a shower. After my shower I sat on Alpha Doyle’s bed and waited for him. I knew the dynamic between us had shifted drastically, but I needed to find out just how that was going to play out between the two of us. I didn’t have to wait long before Alpha Doyle walked into the bedroom. He stopped just inside the door, a look of surprise on his face when he saw me sitting on the bed. Not saying anything, he made his way into the bathroom, closing the door behind him

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 61

Storm The next morning when I awoke from our night together. I was surprised that I was still wrapped safely and securely in Doyle’s arms. I lay there in the quiet, content and just watching him sleep. I smiled to myself when I saw my mark on his neck. He was mine, and I was his, now and forever. I was still looking at Doyle when he opened his eyes and caught me watching him. He smiled as he grabbed me tighter in his arms, dragging me even closer to him. His lips met mine, and he kissed me before pulling away and saying, “Good morning, love.” “Good morning, did you sleep well?” I asked. “I slept like a baby, love,” he replied, grinning. “How did you sleep?” he asked. “Best sleep I have had in a long time,” I replied. “I’m glad to hear it,” he tells me, a smile present on his face. Laying there, my eyes once again found their way to my mark on his neck. Reaching up, I traced my fingers over it. I looked back at his face and caug

Lilly The moment the words had left my mouth, and I saw the look on Lena’s face, I regretted it. Looking around the table, I saw Leah and Julie watching me, a look of disapproval on their faces as they began a conversation with me through the mind link. “Lilly, that big mouth of yours will one day be the death of you,” Julie said to me in her usual disapproving tone. “I wasn’t trying to cause problems, I was just curious,” I replied. “Well, from the look that Lena just gave you, I wouldn’t be expecting her to be warm and cuddly towards you for a while,” Leah said. “I don’t see what the problem is, seriously. Dad had a right to know she was sleeping in her wolf form,” I replied. “I think dad was already aware of it, it was just a case of, unlike you, he could keep his mouth shut,” Julie said. “And even if he wasn’t aware of it, I am sure Lena would have told him why she was sleeping in her wolf form when she was read

Storm I glanced away, not wanting to appear weak. A Luna was meant to be someone who was fierce and strong. She was meant to be her Alphas equal. A strong Alpha needed a strong Luna who had his back in any situation he might find himself in. Not a weak Luna that he had to worry over, on top of everything else an Alpha had to handle. What kind of Luna was I going to be if a simple pack ceremony turned me into a nervous wreck? “I know my pack, love, they will welcome you with open arms. They loved their previous Luna, and they will love you too. I know you are nervous, but you have nothing to worry about. Now, the girls are going to help you get organised for your induction ceremony. I want you to feel like a princess for your special night,” he said, placing a gentle kiss on my temple. “We didn’t bring any clothes for special occasions,” I whispered, as he linked his fingers with mine. “Well, I’m sure my daughters would never pass up a shopping trip, I

  • Trapped in the Storm   Epilogue

Storm The next morning, Doyle was so excited about the pregnancy that he couldn’t contain his excitement. From the moment we had woken up, he had been grinning like the cat that had gotten the cream, the milk, and the canary. When we had gotten Dalton and gone downstairs, he had announced it to everyone at the breakfast table. There had been cheers and congratulations and a few dirty jokes, but everyone was just as excited as we were about our new little surprise. After breakfast, Doyle had announced a pack meeting just as he had promised he would, and we had left to go to the place where my induction ceremony had taken place. When we arrived, I had looked at all the pack members who had been so warm and welcoming towards me and who could not contain their joy for me and Doyle when Dalton had been born; they had welcomed me into the pack as if I was part of their family. Now I was a little worried that they were all going to hate me

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 108

Storm We had flown back to Ireland, and I was glad to be back home. Doyle and I had hugged our baby boy close as soon as we had gotten home, and we had spent the evening watching movies with Leah, Lilly, and Julie. Mike had joined us as well. It had been a good family night. Before we had left Texas, Winter had pulled me aside and asked me so many questions about my life in Ireland. I know she wanted to make sure that I was happy, and that I was safe. I understood the protective side of her. She had stepped into the role of my mother right after our mother had been killed. I had explained everything to her. I had told her about Dalton, and I had explained to her that as a mother, I had held off mentioning him before, because I was protecting him. My baby had been the most important thing in my life, and I couldn’t risk Mason or our father finding out about his existence. As a new mother, Winter understood where I was coming from in that matter. We had talked about ou

Storm "I am only going to say this once, so all of you fuckers had better listen. I mean it, every single one of you. Even if Winter, Leon, Finn, and I have to tag-team it and fight our way through every member of this pack and have bodies piling up left, right and centre. I can firmly assure you, one way or another Finn and Leon will be the Alpha’s of this pack by sundown. Or at least what would be left of this pack anyway, because if anyone has earned the right to go on a killing spree through this fucked up pack… it is me! And rest assured if I start fighting any of you, those two will be right in the thick of it, so good luck with that,” I said, pointing to Doyle and Sean. “Now Josh, pull your head out of your ass and think before you speak. Because, since I have been back here, all you mutts have been acting as if this is all my fault. Like things suddenly went bad after I left! Lightbulb moment for all of you. Things were always bad in this pack and had been si

Storm I looked back towards the pack and said, “Members of the Hunter's Moon Pack as the two rightful heirs to this pack my sister Winter and I are going to install leadership for this pack. So, may I present to you, our choices for dual leadership, Leon, and Finn Weber. They are Alpha Felix’s brothers, so they are from an Alpha family, and they have our full support in this matter. So, if all of you screw up, we will all kick you asses.” Josh stepped forward, “Like hell, no way! You pair of traitorous bastards ran away like little cowards in the dead of the night. Where were the two of you when the pack was under attack? Hiding just like cowards, that’s where! Neither one of you deserves to be Alpha of this pack!” Josh spat; anger clearly displayed on his face. “And let me guess Josh. I suppose you think you deserve to be the Alpha of this pack!” I said looking at Josh and laughing in disgust. “I would be a better Alpha then either of you!” he

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 105

Storm As soon as we landed in Texas, Doyle hired an SUV to take us to the Hunter’s Moon pack’s territory. Upon our arrival there, it surprised me to see just how much damage had been done during the attack. There were burned out structures everywhere, and I could tell by the small number of people that were out and about tidying up, that the pack had suffered quite a significant loss in pack numbers. As soon as people saw me, I began receiving looks of hostility and blame. I didn’t let this phase me though. I didn’t like these people any more than they liked me. And as far as I was concerned, I didn’t care what they thought of me. I was standing beside Doyle and Sean when I sent a text to Winter. Me: Back in hell, where are you? Winter: Back on Texas soil, be with you soon xx Looking at one of the men who was standing nearby, I said, “You need to call a pack meeting now. Every pack member must be in attendance. Tell all the p

Storm During the flight I went and lay down in the master bedroom. I had so much on my mind, and I was totally wiped out. Plus, I was concerned about my baby. Separation anxiety had kicked in big time and had left me crying just like a baby. A while later, after my cry baby episode, I was laying in the dark trying to clear my head when Doyle came in. When he looked at me, he could see I had been crying. He came over to the bed and lay down beside me, pulling me into his arms. I lay there in his arms, with my head on his chest. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “Separation anxiety,” I whispered. “You’re missing Dalton?” he asked. I nodded in answer to his question. “I miss him already,” I whispered. “That is normal love. You will be worrying until you have him in your arms again and can see with your own eyes that he is safe,” he replied. I lifted my head, bracing all my weight on my right arm. I looked down at him for a moment before p

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 103

Storm Three weeks later I was in the nursery restocking baby supplies with Leah when Lilly came upstairs to tell me that Doyle wanted to see me in his office. “Why didn’t he just use mind link and tell me?” I asked. “I don’t know, he just told me that if I saw you, I was to tell you he wanted to see you in his office,” Lilly replied. “Better go down there, you don’t want to keep him waiting,” Leah said. I walked out of the nursery and made my way to Doyle’s office. When I got there, I saw that Sean was sitting at Doyle’s desk, in the chair opposite Doyle. I walked in and closed the door behind me. “We have got some news for you,” Doyle said as I walked over to his desk. “Okay…” I replied, taking a seat beside Sean. “We have received word that the Hunter’s Moon pack was attacked and that the pack has lost many of their pack members. I thought you should know,” Doyle said, watching me closely so he could get

Storm “Lena, what the fuck?” snapped James glaring at me. “Watch your mouth!” Sean snapped back. “You don’t ever speak to your Luna like that, or you will have me to deal with! Do you understand me?” Doyle asked glaring at James. “Yes Alpha, my apologies,” James said lowering his eyes. “Don’t apologise to me boy, apologies are owed to your Luna,” Doyle growled. “Apologies Luna,” James said looking at me. I met his gaze and just gave him a deep guttural growl. So, he could lower his eyes in respect to Doyle, but not to me. Suddenly I was annoyed, and my wolf was feeling bitchy and decided she needed to show it. She decided it was time to call James out on his shit and I agreed with her. It was past time to sort this crap out. Opening my mind link to the pack members within the room, I asked, “James, where were you and Daniel the day that the girls and I went for a run and got attacked by the rogues at the stream? You and

  • Trapped in the Storm   Chapter 101

Storm After my father’s phone call, we finished up our pack business in Doyle’s office before making our way downstairs to check on Liam and the girls and the baby. When I got downstairs, I saw James and Daniel and James’ mate Sophie in the lounge room with Liam and the others. Well, well, well looks like today is my lucky day. It had been ages since I had seen Daniel and James, so it surprised me to see them and Sophie sitting there with Liam and the girls like it was an everyday occurrence. Sophie was getting too close to Leah and Dalton for my liking. After what that bitch had tried to do to Lilly, my wolf and I wanted her dead. I looked at Lilly who was sitting in the lounge's corner suite, curled up in a ball and looking like she was about to burst into tears. I could feel my wolf clawing within me to get out and wanting to kill Sophie to protect Dalton and Lilly. Before I could lock her down, my wolf took total control, and she forcibly shifted me int
