Chapter 427 Don't Bother Me

Outside Luxe Dining.

Evan forcibly pushed Caroline into the car, leaving her bewildered. Just as she was trying to sit up, she felt Evan's menacing presence.

He grasped Caroline's arm, forcing her to sit upright, and yelled irrationally, "Why are you doing this?"

Caroline winced in pain, her anger rising. "What's wrong with you, Evan? I explicitly told you to stop bothering me, didn't I?"

"I'm asking you, why are you doing this?" Evan tightly gripped Caroline's collar, pulling her closer. "Tell me why?!"

"There's no reason! I don't have to explain myself to you!" Caroline glared at him coldly.

"You won't explain, huh?" Evan growled through clenched teeth.

"No! I won't explain anything to you! I won't explain why I befriended him or why I'm on a date with him!" Caroline shouted. "I won't explain anything to you, no matter what happens between him and me in the future!"

"Reuben, get out of here!" Evan was seething with anger.

Reuben hastily fled from the car in a panic.
