chapter 10

Five years later.

The airport looked as busy as ever, bustling with passengers boarding and disembarking from planes.

A beautiful woman with long hair appeared elegant, just disembarked from a plane, walking gracefully while holding the hand of a handsome four-year-old boy.

They both walked out of the airport.

"Auntie Tina said she would pick us up, Mom, why isn't she visible? Where is she!" the little boy asked the beautiful woman.

"Maybe she's stuck in traffic, dear. Let's wait for a moment!" the beautiful woman replied.

The small fingers of the little boy held tightly to his mother's fingers.

Many pairs of eyes observed them.

"Oh, that boy is so cute, I want to pinch his cheeks!"

"Mother and son are so beautiful, they are a perfect match!"

"Surely the woman's husband is very handsome, look at their handsome son, the father must be handsome too!"

Whispers were heard as they looked at the mother and son.

They seemed unperturbed by the stares and whispers discussing them.

With a suitcase in one hand and holding her son's hand in the other, the beautiful woman led her son towards the pick-up area.

"Mrs. Julia!" someone could be heard calling out to the beautiful woman.

"Are you Mrs. Julia?" a man in formal attire approached the beautiful woman, who was indeed Julia.

"Yes, that's right. Who are you?" Julia asked, looking at the man in surprise.

"Please, Madam, you have been awaited by the Master, his car is waiting!" the man replied politely, extending his hand to guide Julia in the direction.

"Wait! Who are you, I don't know you! Who is your Master, I don't know him!" Julia replied, refusing to follow the man's instructions.

Another man, dressed similarly, reached for Julia's suitcase.

"Hey! Give back my suitcase!" Julia yelled, chasing after the man who took her suitcase, her hand still holding onto her son's hand.

The little boy also ran to follow his mother's steps in chasing the man who took their suitcase.

The man carrying the suitcase approached a luxurious car and opened the car trunk.

"Hey! Give back my suitcase, don't put it in!" Julia shouted as she saw the man lifting her suitcase into the car trunk.

"Please, Madam!" replied the man who had greeted Julia earlier, opening the car door.

He motioned for Julia and her son to enter the car.

Julia refused to get in.

"You are kidnappers, I don’t know you!" Julia cried out while hugging her son.

Suddenly, the man's phone rang.

He took his phone from his suit pocket and answered the call.

"Yes, Sir, we have picked up the Madam!" the man replied.

He then returned the phone to his suit pocket.

"Please, Madam, the Master will be finished with his meeting shortly and will meet you at home!" the man again urged Julia to get into the car.

"Who is your Master, I don't know you! You have the wrong person, let us go! I will scream 'kidnapper' so that people will hit you!" Julia angrily retorted.

"I apologize, Madam, if I am being forward. The Master will be upset if you arrive home late!" the man pushed Julia into the car.

"Hey! Don't be rough with my Mom!" Julia's son shouted.

"Sorry, Young Master, Papa will be upset if you arrive home late!" the man closed the car door after Julia and her son got into the car.

Julia held her son tightly, not expecting that upon returning to their hometown, they would be abducted.

If it weren't for Tina opening a branch of their restaurant in their hometown, Julia would never have set foot in that city again.
