CHAPTER-45: Our Queen

Helena stared at the dilapidated building in front of her through the window of her car.

A deep frown creased on her forehead to see the condition of the building. Evan brought her to such a ruined place after dressing her like a queen? she thought looking at her long silk black dress the cost of which was enough to repair the whole building.

“Evan, what is this place?” Helena finally worded her shock to her fiance who was busy typing something on his phone.

“My empire,” He answered, raising his eyes at her. Helena blinked. “This?” She motioned towards the building with her finger. “...is your empire?”

Evan pushed his phone onto his pocket and gave Helena his full attention. “This is my shady world, Helena. It is as ugly and dangerous as this shattered building. Darkness is synonymous with my business but it's grand. And soon you are going to witness this grandness.”
