CHAPTER-145: Exile

Vienna swallowed her saliva and In raw fear, she glanced at Richard who closed his eyes defeatedly.

“Look at me, Vienna,” Evan hissed and Vienna gasped in fear as she turned to him. He was standing close to her, too close but not in a romantic manner. No, his eyes were burning in rage and were murderous.

Vienna took a step back but Evan shook his head, ordering her to stay where she was. “Antonio told me something and I want to know whether it's true or not!”

Her breathing turned heavy. “I…I don't know what you are talking about. And Evan, you are scaring me.”

“No, I am asking you a question because that's not how I scare people, Vienna. So do us both a favor and tell me whether you came here, to my office yesterday or not. Did you give that contract copy to Elijah or not?” His voice was low and threatening.

“Capo. She came here but…”

“The question was not directed to you!” Evan snapped his eyes to his right-hand man. The man he considered his brother.
