CHAPTER-118: The Wait

Elijah eyed the newspapers on the table which had the pictures of Evan and Liam together, enjoying the day as if they were biologically related, a father and son.

The smile on Liam's face was broad and happy. A real smile, he recalled how his son smiled in his presence. Forced!

Liam’s smile was forced in his presence. Anger ran through his body thinking that. His resentment perked as he picked the newspapers and ripped them apart.

His son was more comfortable with his enemy than Him. Elijah felt humiliated, the woman he loves was happy with Evan. His son was happy with Evan while his hands and life was empty.

He couldn't tolerate this. “Evan!” He gritted out in rage before punching the table hard while the newspaper was still curled into his fist.

“Elijah!” Giovanni entered his son's room and was astounded to see his condition. “What the hell are you doing?” He demanded, grabbing his swollen hand and inspecting it.
