Shienna arrived at the hospital and checked on Jennifer's condition, which was slowly improving. The doctor said the cut on her wrist wasn't too deep and, therefore, not fatal. However, he asked Shienna to closely monitor her, as a similar incident could occur if everyone relaxed their guard.

Jennifer still hasn't opened her eyes. According to the psychiatrist who is also in charge of monitoring her condition, Jennifer is experiencing symptoms of acute stress due to what happened to her. The mental health team will continue to monitor her condition until it gets better, and she can decide whether to keep the baby or choose abortion as a middle ground.

Shienna looked compassionately at her friend, took Jennifer's cold hand, and sighed heavily.
